Pitches too small.

Very few pitches will take a car,  caravan and awning comfortably.  Whilst good in some ways, there are too many cul-de-sacs which makes finding a pitch upon arrival very difficult. Apart from the above, the site and staff are excellent.

Very nice site

We found the Moreton CC site very nice, it's in a handy location for the Northern side of the Cotswolds my only criticism is the layout. Accessing some of the pitches was very tricky, we witnessed several people struggling to get vans on and off due to the layout and the presence of 'pointless' small fences etc opposite and adjacent to pitches.  Some regrassed areas had metal fence spikes around them, that made getting a long van around a tight bend in the road almost impossible as the road around the site is very narrow.  If the grass keeps getting run over its perhaps a sign that the road needs widening a few inches? The site staff were very friendly on arrival and the facilities were really nice and kept very clean.  I liked the number and distribution of service points too.  One side of the site is bordered by the road, so there is a bit of traffic noise, but we didn't find it a huge problem.  We had a very pleasant stay and would consider the site again, although I prefer the Broadway site for a better layout and being very quiet.

Great site

Just returned from my second visit to this little gem of a site. Very well maintained, toilets and showers very clean with plenty of hot water. Short walk into Moreton, where there are a few places to eat and just enough shops and tea rooms to get your interest. Great dog walking field, one of the best I have seen at the caravan club.

love this site

odensne of our favourite sites.war one of our favourite sites. The wardens are friendly and do a n excellent job of looking after the site. one problem seems to be the size of the pitches, they are not big enough for some of the car/caravan/awnings that are using them.Good to have one toilet block closed for cleaning in the afternoon. all in all great site and great location. we will be back again.

Return Visit A Guarantee.

Great location within easy walking distance to the village of Moreton also a good base to explore Bourton and Stow On The Wold. Typical standard of cleanliness with a caravan club site "spotless". Wardens very friendly and helpful.

Great Location, Busy Site and Friendly Helpful Wardens

It's the first time we have ever been to this site and it won't be the last. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, We enjoyed a lazy day in the village on the Tuesday (Market Day). We noticed how dog friendly most of the eateries are, during our stay We went into the Waffle shop, Tillys Tearoom and the Swan Pub and all were dog friendly. This site is also close to Stow and Bourton on the water and Lower and Upper Slaughter All beautiful old villages, lovely for a wander around. As everyone has said the pitches on the site are on the small side and due to the very wet weather this year is beginning to look a scruffy and muddy around the edges of the pitches. The toilet blocks were spotless. We will definitely be back to the site, we loved the location a real bonus having a site so near a village you could walk to it and leave the car behind

We'll be back!

This lovely site is within easy walking distance of the town of Moreton-in-Marsh. (Plus there is a bus stop just outside the entrance). It always appears to be well-populated, and with good reason. There's plenty of walking, including a 1.5 mile stroll along the Monarch's Way to Batsford Aboretum, and the neighbouring falconry centre. There are plenty of eateries in Moreton and a thriving market on a Tuesday. We stayed 4 days and will be back for longer soon.
