We stayed at this site for the first time at the beginning of July and have nothing but praise for it. The warden and staff were friendly and helpful and the cleanliness of the facilities was excellent There is no wifi and the phone signal is more or less non existent It was actually very liberating to be without these necessities of modern living for a while! There are lots of things to do in the area and we would certainly go back. Reading some of the comments in the visitors book, it seems that the future of this site has been/is in doubt. All I can say to the  CC is that it would be very sad if it was closed, as it is a lovely peaceful place to spend some time.
