Over priced tarmac pitch
POSITIVES. Great location for walking into Melrose, walking by the river, local attractions, cycling etc. Good quality facilities and helpful wardens.
NEGATIVES...charging £38.40 for a small tarmac pitch next to the public car park and the Melrose Bottle Bank. Very noisy especially on collection day for the bottle bank.
MORAL... Do not book a pitch without awning as you may end up on the tarmac area. If only need to stay in Melrose for one night you may as well stay in the public car park for free.
