In addition to the good info in the other reviews, there are bus stops right outside the site, so I could leave my campervan parked up and take the bus, much more relaxing. A day return to Jedburgh was £8 (full fare) and the trip to Galashiels to see the Great Scotland Tapestry was about £5. This is also the bus up to the train station if you don't fancy the walk. The bus information only seems to be available online, and the stops just have a QR code to scan for details. Buses were every 30 mins on a Friday but hourly on a Saturday. A great site, as others have commented.
