Stunning

What a lovely site! The setting is spectacular with great riverside pitches. Facilities clean and staff really helpful. Close to Killin and local amenities. We have two dogs so walking for us was a must and we were not let down and pleasantly surprised : ) We would definitely recommend and return when we next visit up north.

Highland Games

Stayed here at the beginning of August. A busy site at that time of year. Site at edge of village so easy walking access to Killin for pubs, cafes shops etc. Facilities clean, wardens pleasant. The annual Killin highland games was held in the village when we were there, an enjoyable experience.

Fine touring site

A very nice site, good location, not much in Killin, some road noise, poor TV/phone/Wifi signal. Fine flat site good pitches, wouldn't say it was a great childrens site mainly because of the River Tay which flows a few yards away and its a deep river. Friendly helpful wardens who kept the site & the toilet/shower block very neat clean & tidy. Great site for touring about from easy access to the Trossachs, Fort William Oban. Definitely return next year.

Simply the best

When we arrived the ass wardens told us where the best pitches were because of occasional flooding and we were there for 14 days. The site was always clean and tidy. The washing machines were excellent, and there was a washing basket that you could loan. The showers and toilets were always spotless. It was a shame that the facilities had not been updated the non slip floor was always clean but it did look dirty. The wardens were great especially Micheal the ass warden who gave us lots of information about the area which was so helpful. The river ran along side the site and you could see the hills in the distance. It was very relaxing. We have been with the club 14 years and this was simply the most welcoming site we have ever stayed on.Thank you

Great Setting

Lovely site situated directly by the river, so great for the fishermen. Easy walk into this picturesque village. Good facilities on site and they are well maintained. Good access to Pitlochry and Blair Atholl

Really peaceful site

Stayed just one night (wish it could have been more) as I was on a dash up north to join my family for a longer holiday. Staff were really welcoming and helpful, going that extra mile to make a difference. Very clean, peaceful site that I shall certainly return to with the rest of the family.

Beautiful situation

This was our first time at Maragowan and certainly won't be the last. From the booking direct with the Site everything was first class. It nestles in the hills and is a short walk to the village and the local Co-op which is very well stocked and very busy. The site is well kept and we had a lovely view over the river. It was very busy but even then never had to queue for the facilities which were kept clean and well stocked. Used theMotor Home point and didn't have to queuefor it either. Round about there  are beautiful walks along the river and to Loch Tay and woodland walks the other side of the spectacular falls of Dochart which are quite unique. All in all a great stay and looking forward to finding an excuse to go back.

Good night stay

Site was nice and peaceful. We stayed for 2 nights. Pretty little village just down the road. Staff helpful. I agree the toilet block is a bit tired, but have seen worse.

Just a short stay

We arrived in the evening, and were pleasantly greeted. The site was clean and tidy, pitches nice and level. Shower block is starting to look a bit tired by comparison to some sites, but was clean and functional. The village nice and we enjoyed a coffee by the falls. As others have said the site is next to an A road, but not very busy overnight. Plenty to do I the area.
