weekend break

Just returned from a 2 night stay on this site and had a great time. Ideal location for walking the Malvern Hills which could be seen from our pitch - very rewarding being able to sit relaxing with a view of the hill you have just climbed!! Facilities on the site did get busy at peak times, but were always kept clean. Wooded dog walking area, although we tended just to walk off site a bit. Short walk down the road to The Swan which had a nice outdoor seating area.

In the Middle of Everywhere

The site was tidy, peaceful and right in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit in the area.  Only two points of concern.  1st we were running late and they told us they did not take late arrivals, when we did arrive we saw that they in fact do have two spots but they will not use them.  2nd the hardstanding pitch is almost concrete - be certain to bring your sturdiest pegs and lots of muscle.  Overall it was a pleasent site and I would reccomend it to a friend.

Lovely stay during early May

Our first visit to this site, and very impressed with everything from the location to the facilities. We made a request to a warden one day to ask if the water could be a bit hotter, and he was pleased to undertake this. Not sure why the CC has lukewarm water on its sites now - possibly cost saving? Anyway, apart from the disappointing weather we had a lovely stay - visit to Tewkesbury Abbey, Brockhampton Estate (NT) and of course the infamous RHS Spring Flower show.

A most enjoyable site

This is amongst the best of the Caravan Club sites we have stayed at. Good spacing on the grassed pitches with views of the impressive Malvern Hills. The toilet blocks were spotlessly clean and the site extremely well looked after.Wardens were very pleasant and helpful. We had a most enjoyable five day stay at the site.

Great site, we will be back!!

Just back home after a six day stay on this site which was new to us. We thought it was absolutely great. Its got great facilities, fantastic views and so peaceful. The Malvern Hills gave us some fantastic walking and views together with a great tour of the Morgan Car Factory in nearby Gt. Malvern. The staff were terrific and made it a great experience. Altogether a brilliant stay....one to come back to?......definately.

Perfect

We have just returned to caravanning after 23 years and Malvern was our 2nd outing. The last time we visited was way back in the late eighties and apart from a few new buildings the place is as quiet and peaceful as ever. The space for the vans is amazing compared to the site next door and the choice of location was left to us. A good site for walks and visits to all manner of places. Our pooch enjoyed the wooded area and the walk to Hanley Swann. Local butcher does some amazing pies, sausage and fresh meat. Nice local spares shop who were really helpful nearby as well. Being the modern man that I am my wife told me she was driving us home. I readily agreed and it was not my fault we ended driving through Malvern. She handed me the map upside down. Apologies to the locals. The wardens did have a few issues with one of the blocks but 'a man' was summoned and sorted the problem quickly. Brilliant site, very well run by a great team. Stayed 20th March 24th March 2015.

Lovely quiet site

We loved Malvern Hills. The site although reasonably large didn't seem it with the pitches spreads over two main areas. The facilities were probably the cleanest and quietest that we've ever experienced one CC site which is saying something as the quality is always very high. The children loved the playground and the views of the Malvern Hills were a joy to wake up to.  Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area despite the bad weather immediately before Easter - the area will only improve in sunshine.  We are definitely going back!

if your looking for Peace & quiet....

We have stayed at the Blackmore site with the C & CC and also this Malvern CC ran site.  We enjoyed both equally although felt the location of the CC site is better as you get a great view of the Malverns.  Plenty of space, great childrens play area although if I had to knock it, we missed a "baby" swing for our 18 month old Grandson. We stayed the first weekend the site opened this year (20 March) and thoroughly enjoyed it, wardens hard working and very friendly.  Enjoyed a couple of visits to the Swan at Hanley, if your thinking of going, book first - it gets busy.  Its a relatively local site for us so we shall definitely be going back, even though it lacks a National Cycle route that we generally look out for on sites.
