Excellent site.

What a brilliant place, views of the Malvern hills are great. The staff are helpful and friendly, all facilities are kept immaculate.  My only criticism is in this day and age why don't members receive free wifi on club sites ????? Come on caravan club get into the twenty first century, you can go into most cafes and have it for free. !!!!!!

Where are the wardens

Stayed here 18/5/16 - 22/5/16. There are six wardens at the site so I found it restricting to have the office open only 9am - 5pm. Surely they could operate a rota to have it open until 7pm. If you arrive here after having finished a day at work then you will almost certainly arrive after 5pm and will have to go back to the office to pay. Also given the number of wardens I was disappointed at the length of the grass in our area of the site. The site has large grassy areas so you walk over these areas to use the shower block. The result on this occasion always left me with wet feet because of the grass length. I don't expect grass to be maintained to snooker table standards but the excessive length here did cause me discomfort on top of the appearance issue. By contrast the grass on the neighbouring Camping and Caravanning club site looked immaculate. The shower blocks were clean and warm. I had a hardstanding pitch with awning and this, along with the others I saw was generally flat. Some slope on quite a number of the grass pitches. Until I am aware of better maintenance and office hours to suit the visitors then I don't think I'll be back

Another great stay

We have visited this site on 4 occasions now and have always been impressed with the staff and facilities. Our preference are the grass pitches to the right side as you enter the site through the barrier. We love going here as it is out of the main traffic area and it is generally nice and quiet. Our only blip this visit is that the lawn mowers on site must have been out of service as the grass was so long, it was like camping in a field. With the periodical wet weather it was not the best on the feet. We have never seen such long grass on any club site. This apart, everything was the usual high standard. Come on Club, let us get the grass cut. Will definitely be back to check!!

Brilliant

This site is brilliant, the welcome off the wardens was warm and friendly and when we asked for advice on which pitch would best suit our needs we were directed to a fantastic pitch near to the bottom block of facilities with stunning views over to the Malvern Hills. The walking once up on the hills was great - all off lead for the dog and the views from the top of the hills were lovely, panoramic in places looking as far as Plynlimon and all the way down to the Bristol Channel. We will definitely be back. Sites with wardens as friendly and efficient as this make the club membership worthwhile. Thank you Caravan Club.

Great Weekend

Mixed weather was on the cards but it didn't spoil our stay, living 30 miles away makes it a quick getaway. You could easily spend a week here, 10 mins from the hills and a spotless well kept site. See you soon ????????

Excellent break.

We stayed for 4 nights over the RHS Malvern show weekend. The weather was warm & sunny. A lovely site with nice views of the Malvern hills from most areas of the site. Good walking on the hills. Hanley Swan is a 15 minute walk, with a very nice pub, village shop and a very pretty duck pond.

A wonderful weekend

It was only our second time our with a caravan - ever. Other site users were helpful but the `manager` went out of his way to make sure we were supported. A thunderstorm on the Saturday evening! - the toilet blocks were still spotless, no evidence of the storm at all, well done to the site staff.

An Open and shut case. How could you possibly improve a 5* site like this! Maybe don't close a toilet block at 10am - or even at all?

An excellent, often visited Club Site. Just one improvement would be to keep the toilet blocks open at all times - as can be found at French sites - or certainly not to close them at 10am.

Beautiful setting

When we arrived reception was very busy but the staff dealt with everyone quickly and efficiently, we had a choice of pitches and as we were staying with 2 other vans we were able to all park close to each other, the toilet blocks were both kept clean and tidy and the bins emptied like clockwork, well done to all the staff, will go there again

Lovely site

Our first (but not last) visit to this site. We found it to be lovely and clean, tidy and well maintained. It was easy to find and a great jumping off place to get to anywhere in a 50ml radius. The on site caretakers were more than helpful, particularly when we lost electrics in our van. Being 2 novices we had not got a clue but the gentleman there soon sorted it for us (now we know where our fuse box is. We would recommend this site to any caravan or motor home people
