We had a nice stay even though the weather was not so good. The site is looking a bit worn a lot of the hard standings have a gray mush instead of stone this is hard to keep out of the caravan. Toilets blocks shut for two hours at a time and at 10am just when most want to use them why not clean them later when the site has fewer people about and close them for one hour this should be long enough. I don't like complaining but it not cheap to stay on caravan club sites and i think the points i make where echoed by a lot of members on the site
A very well kept site that is immaculate in all areas and that is down to the hard work of the wardens especially the toilet blocks no matter what time we visited them they were in high state of cleanliness
Well positioned to visit the Malvern hills and other walks in the area .
My only grip is not with the site but the amount of caravaners who will not stick to the 5mph rule ,I took my twin grandchildren age 2.5 yrs with us for 5 nights and got bit nervous for them and us at the amount of people who were racing to get to a pitch in case anybody got to it before them was unbelievable the speed limit is there for a reason but if you say anything they look at you as if lost your mind or are abusive toward you
Great site with helpful staff. Facilities spotless but should be as they are closed for two hours every day ( Is that the norm? Can’t remember) In an area where you need a car to explore as not much locally apart from the Swan pub which is very nice but I wouldn’t have wanted to walk to it even though the impression given was that it “was just down the road” We only stayed for four nights, pitched right next to the dog walk which was a mistake as it was grass cutting time and the mower made frequent visits to just inside where I assume it kept emptying. That said, I would definitely visit again just on a different pitch.
We found ourselves at the mercy of our builders and needed to leave our house so we looked for a local site and were lucky enough to find this one. Initially we booked in for a week but ended up staying about three! Everyone involved in looking after the site was friendly and helpful keeping standards high and guests happy! The grounds and facilities being looked after fastidiously. We even felt like we actually had made friends with some of the team they were so nice and chatty. We really appreciated the calm and tranquil site situated so close to the beautiful Malvern Hills and all the surrounding attractions. Even though we were only ten minutes from home we felt like we were on holiday. Definitely recommend you stay here. Thank you!
Lovely quiet well kept site. The village of Hanley Swan is about one mile down the road, with a foot path. The Swan inn in the village serves great ale and good food ( a little on the pricey side) also has a village shop. It's just a short drive to Malvern and the hills. We were so lucky with the weather, the view from the summit was spectacular. Well worth the trek. Definately will be back.
Stayed for 3 nights at beginning of October. There was plenty of space and even on the Friday night it did not feel crowded. the wardens were very welcoming and helpful and the site and facilities were immaculate. Our 2 retrievers enjoyed the dog walk which is in a small wood . there is a small fish& chip van which called at the adjacent C&C club site on the Friday and the fish supper was excellent. Definitely worth another visit.
We stayed here for 4 days late September over a weekend. The wardens were friendly and helpful always acknowledging us whenever we were out and about. The location is ideal for walking and cycling. We went out for a few rides whilst there. The Swan Inn at the end of the road is a bit pricy but we got what we paid for and ate there twice. Good food and decent size portions. At this last time in the season it was very quiet although fairly busy.
We stayed here in August, I forgot to post a review sooner! It was the same as all the other club sites we have stayed on, very good indeed. They are all of the same standard, you know exactly what to expect when you arrive. We have always been welcomed and everything is always straight forward. This site is in a good location within walking distance of an excellent pub. The cycling is perfect so many places to cycle to on beautiful quiet country lanes. Although it was school holidays and the site was fairly full, we thought it was peaceful and quiet. The scenery is simply stunning its a fabulous area to explore, we will be back again and again I have no doubt.
Great views of the hills from the far end of the site, a very interesting (to the dog) dogwalk, a short walk to the village shop, and convenient for the Malvern Hills with the lovely town and great hill walks, this is a great site.
Our hosts made us welcome, and we shall return, I'm sure.
The site and facilities were very neat and clean, but the wifi signal was almost non-exsistent. Maybe on pitch 170 we were too far away, but disappointing as we depend on a signal for our entertainment on the iPlayer - Note to self - download programmes before we leave.
