Very attractive Site

As expected of a Club Site, Wardens helpful and friendly, facilities spotlessly clean and functioning. The site is quite large, and, although very busy over the weekend, was surprisingly tranquil. For those travelling in a Motorhome/Campervan, without additional transport, I would recommend, "arrive prepared", bus service exists, but, is infrequent, and, nearest (Village) shop is 1 mile away. There is a pub, serving food, (The Swan), a mile away. Food good, but, not low cost. There is very pleasant walking, and, some excellent cycling along quiet country lanes. We cycled to Upton-on-Severn, Tewkesbury, Worcester and Great Malvern. Great Malvern was a challenge! (we are 72, and "real" bikes, no batteries!). A surprising absence of dedicated cycle routes, or sign posts, take your OS Map! Overall, we enjoyed it, and, would recommend, will return.

Lovely Site

We stop at this site regularly on our trips to Devon and Cornwall. Our son and family live near the site and it is situated in a beautiful area with many places to visit. I always advise people to pay a visit to St Peters Garden Centre at Norton they have a smashing cafe with very good food. Praise to the wardens who keep the site very clean and tidy and are also very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the second toilet block needs some work and updating:- In fact when we visited last month there was a leak in the ladies block which made the floor quite wet. We also think the price of the site to be expensive in comparison to other club sites that have been updated.

We enjoyed the general ambience of the site.

As you would expect, Malvern Hills Club Site is clean, well maintained and staffed by some lovely people. We had a good short stay. The Site is great for walking into Great Malvern. The Malvern Hills are better served by CLs closer by. If you have access to a car, then all the far flung places mentioned in the details may well be accessible. In a Motor home you need places of interest either within walking or cycling distance. I don't really fancy cycling to Stratford or the Bull Ring. The area has many attractions and it is a very pleasant area. We enjoyed the general ambience of the site, even enjoyed listening to the Guide camp evening in the adjacent field!! A nice site in which to spend time.

Avoiding The rain

Spent a few very wet days here in June but somehow managed to do all the things we wanted to do without a soaking, and there is an awful lot to do in the area. two specifics being walking in The Malvern Hills and Eastnor Castle, probably the most dog friendly property we have ever visited. Good reception and the facilities were clean and well appointed. We did dislike the large bulk waste bins as they are difficult to operate with handfuls of rubbish. The site is probably the best kept we have seen for a while, the downside of that being the zealous grass cutting. On the Monday morning we were the last van left in the area we occupied and the warden insisted on driving round and round our pitch cutting that as well as the empty ones. It was very noisy and intimidating, we felt like asking if he wanted us to move pitch. Great dog walk.

Weekend break

Overall very good site, well kept by wardens with large pitches. Our main points of note are concerning what seems to be a negative trend in terms of service points. Why are not purpose built service points fully utilised e.g. waste and recycling not available to dump at most points so walking past up to 2 points to discard waste seems crazy, even the play park now does NOT have a bin. My wife and I picked up waste several times in the park plus we both assisted an elderly couple by dumping their waste as they were so far from a suitable point even though they parked near to an area that had bins previously.

Comment from the Club:

Excellent site for Flower Show

We live locally and always go to the Malvern Spring Festival but last year we travelled from home and the queue were horrendous so this year decided to stay at this site as its only about 2 miles from site and it payed off, hardly any queues. The site as always is very well run and clean so no complaints at all.

Another Great Stay

Another great stay, been here so many times. Site was busy as it was Easter, but as there were no grass pitches so not as busy as usual. Site is well maintained and all the facilities were immaculate. Great area for walking, the Malvern Hills are fabulous. Very close to Upton Upon Severn, and Worcester, both worth a visit.

Fabulous Club Site

Just had a fabulous weekend at the Malvern Hills Club Site. It is next door to the camping and caravan club site so go past this and enter the caravan and motorhome site.Great reception area with a little shop and a very easy check in - allowed to choose our own pitch then you go back to reception where they issue a fob for the gated barrier. Cannot fault this site, great dog walk, excellent facilities, some of the best showers we have experienced. It the site was quieter as we had chosen the other end of Easter when things would be quieter. Great walks from the site with footpaths galore! Malvern itself is lovely with beautiful walks in the malvern hills and surrounding commons. So impressed intend to go back.

March short break

This site is well located for walking from site. Getting there was easy along the access roads. The pitches were good and roads etc. well maintained. Disappointing that one toilet block was out of use and meant a long walk to the other side of the site. Why not just close off half the units in each block if trying to save on cleaning? Although the surroundings are generally quiet beware of the grass cutters especially the next door girl guide camp !

Malvern Hills

Be aware when entering site as also access to Camping and Caravanning site next door!! On arrival, the warden informed us that as the site wasn't;t busy there was only 1 toilet block in use which is understandable. However, they closed the one where most caravans were pitched and the section of the site that has views of the Malvern Hills?????? The toilet block, whilst clean, smelt of drains!! Visited Great Malvern and climbed Worcestershire Beacon, all paths look maintained though sections are very steep - well worth the effort.
