Excellent site for Flower Show

We live locally and always go to the Malvern Spring Festival but last year we travelled from home and the queue were horrendous so this year decided to stay at this site as its only about 2 miles from site and it payed off, hardly any queues. The site as always is very well run and clean so no complaints at all.

Another Great Stay

Another great stay, been here so many times. Site was busy as it was Easter, but as there were no grass pitches so not as busy as usual. Site is well maintained and all the facilities were immaculate. Great area for walking, the Malvern Hills are fabulous. Very close to Upton Upon Severn, and Worcester, both worth a visit.

Fabulous Club Site

Just had a fabulous weekend at the Malvern Hills Club Site. It is next door to the camping and caravan club site so go past this and enter the caravan and motorhome site.Great reception area with a little shop and a very easy check in - allowed to choose our own pitch then you go back to reception where they issue a fob for the gated barrier. Cannot fault this site, great dog walk, excellent facilities, some of the best showers we have experienced. It the site was quieter as we had chosen the other end of Easter when things would be quieter. Great walks from the site with footpaths galore! Malvern itself is lovely with beautiful walks in the malvern hills and surrounding commons. So impressed intend to go back.

March short break

This site is well located for walking from site. Getting there was easy along the access roads. The pitches were good and roads etc. well maintained. Disappointing that one toilet block was out of use and meant a long walk to the other side of the site. Why not just close off half the units in each block if trying to save on cleaning? Although the surroundings are generally quiet beware of the grass cutters especially the next door girl guide camp !

Malvern Hills

Be aware when entering site as also access to Camping and Caravanning site next door!! On arrival, the warden informed us that as the site wasn't;t busy there was only 1 toilet block in use which is understandable. However, they closed the one where most caravans were pitched and the section of the site that has views of the Malvern Hills?????? The toilet block, whilst clean, smelt of drains!! Visited Great Malvern and climbed Worcestershire Beacon, all paths look maintained though sections are very steep - well worth the effort.

A trip down memory lane

We were last at this site 24 years ago working as Assistant Wardens! Having returned we can do nothing but praise the Wardens and their Assistants for how well they are maintaining the site. The facilities are immaculate and the grass and hardstandings pitches are very tidy and we hope members realise how much hard work this takes to keep a site looking so good. To the Wardens keep up the good work and we hope to see you again.

Good Site Pity its Spoilt by Thoughless Dog Owners

Stayed here to attend the Autumn Show as we did last year. As expected the site was full but despite this the wardens coped magnificently, extra pitches created and facilities kept clean, tidy and well stocked. However my grip is with dog owning fellow members, can I request that they keep dogs on a tight short lead and walk on the roadway to the to the dog exercise area. Its here that dogs are expected to defecate and urinate, not on other pitches or grass areas when taking a short cut. Also when did it become acceptable to erect stockades to confine dogs in? These take manner forms from diy wire mesh screens, cages of various sizes and even bright orange roadway barrier fencing. Am I the only one that thinks these are not only unsightly but are a health hazard as dogs seem free to defecate and urinate at will, and when they have departed the pitch may be taken over by others who now, unwittingly pitch on contaminated ground. This situation is not unique to Malvern and needs addressing by the Club.

Great location with wonderful views of the Malvern Hills

Yet another peaceful and tranquil site run by the Caravan and Motorhome Club. We stayed for three nights with our grandchildren in the middle of August and had a wonderful stay. A warm welcome awaited us on arrival from the friendly wardens who invited us to choose our pitch. As always the facilities were excellent, well maintained and our barometer on how sites are managed lies on the condition of the toilets. They were spotless, in really good condition and a plentiful supply of hot water. There is a good children’s play area which our grandchildren really enjoyed, together with the added bonus of an outdoor draught board and Connect 4 which provided an alternative source of entertainment to help keep them occupied. Nearby is the village of Hanley Swan with a nice pub, and a 15 minute drive takes you to the Severnside town of Upton. The Malvern Hills offer an abundance of walks and magnificent views, and Eastnor castle is definitely worth a visit. Our first visit to this site, and will not be the last.

Stop over in M5

Broke our journey up by staying here overnight we had been delayed on the M6 so rang ahead to say we were on our way and would arrive by 8pm only to find reception closed at 745pm but a warden came to see us - although he expected us to find the pitch eith a map with no numbers (apparently they had run out) and in the dark and we hadn’t been there before. He didn’t even know how to direct us as he was only covering - he did then take us down to a large concrete part of the site which wasn’t very pretty I have to say - it was adequate for our one night stay but I wouldn’t have been happy sited there if we were staying a few days. Would stay here again to cycle around the area but would want a proper pitch not and old bit of concrete to pitch on
