Our first visit to Malvern site. Very helpful warden directing traffic at the entrance very useful as it was busy.
Pitching difficult on uneven sloping grass pitch and some are very small in size. But in the heat we were glad to be under a tree with a lovely view.
Loos and showers - I thought there was an emphasis on facilities generally being cleaned more often at the moment- this didn’t seem to be the case and with some people simply ignoring the band system I was worried about using the shower block.
The lack of visibility of the staff too was not reassuring
It’s a big (ish) open site, nice, with lovely views from dome pitches. Will probably go back.
Lovely food in the local pubs.
Lovely weekend
I cannot rate this site highly enough - one of the best we have visited. Smooth arrival and check in. The site was easy to find and it is so spacious. Everyone on the site was friendly and it has a good, happy atmosphere. People were respectful and although you could hear various activities going on in the day time, as soon as it started to get dark everyone quietened down, which we appreciate, being tired from our walk directly from the site to the Malvern Hills, along the magnificent ridge and back again. The view from the site was superb and the surrounding roads were quiet and therefore great to take our sons out cycling on. This was one of the best sites so far this year for people adhering to social distancing and also the wristband system. The shower block was clean and not too busy and we felt safe on this site. The grass pitches were spacious and despite being surrounded by other pitches we did not feel infringed on. We did notice the usual kids on bikes/scooters issue but as we were on a grass pitch it did not affect us as much as it has on other sites. We did, as others have mentioned, notice a few outfits were incorrectly pitched and one in particular was facing the wrong way so that their awning ended up against their neighbours awning - not a good idea really in this Covid-19 era. We did wonder why visitors appeared to be allowed on site though as we thought this was not allowed. Overall though it was a really good, memorable stay and the little village of Hanley Swan is so picturesque - will definitely return to this site

Will be returning
This is a well run, well maintained site with excellent facilities. Ideally situated for visiting the Malverns. This is a family site, so expect children riding around on bikes etc.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and will be returning.
Nice Weekend .............but
We have been visiting this site for years and it never fails accept for the noisy kids cycling/running around the toilet block, screaming etc with no consideration for others, parents no ware to be seen.
In general we are noticing the 12 noon arrival zone is out the window with folk turning over an hour premature - come on CMC try to get it sorted or even make sure they are turned away.
12 rule means don't arrive before 12 noon.
First trip out
This first trip out in our change of caravan purchased just before lockdown to an area we know well. Lovely site well maintained but would have expected to see wardens out and about checking on correct pitching and general adherence to site rules.
Children on bikes were the only bugbear especially when cycling against the one way system. A recipe for an accident
Beautiful site, grass pitches small
We had a lovely weekend, beautiful site, weather was amazing, facilities were OK but unfortunately some people were not using the wrist band system correctly for toilets and showers, lovely looking site, staff were very helpful and showed me what pitches were available, shop was well stocked, unfortunately the people next to us allowed there dogs to run freely and poo and wee around our caravan and it resulted in one off us stepping in dog poo, I was not impressed, such a shame some people don't think they have to listen to the rules and spoil it for others, TV signal not great and phone signal is poor, might try the site again but go on hardstanding pitche
Lovely big site
Lovely to return again, glorious weather helped, was very wary due to covid but a wrist band system was put in place, if you needed the facilities you would have to put your band on a hook outside the facilities or wait in a queue to go in.. To which many people weren't doing I saw this on numerous occasions while there. These restrictions are there for a reason.. Also cars are no way doin 5mph around the site.. The site itseld is very big and was very full and was nice to see so many venturing out, didn't really see wardens about but totally understood this to do with covid. Went to m as lvern lover ly quaint village and also Upton on Severn was nice to.. The park itself was clean and tidy at all times, no noisy neighbours about we were at the top half, the lower field seemed to be a bit more compact but still no noise to be fair,, 1 thing I do think children on cycles after it starts getting dark should have lights on their bikes if they are zooming about the place... I no it sounds like I'm moaning but it's observations we made.. It was nice to chill and enjoy Bern on the Rd again, and enjoy the sites that are available to us... Next 1 is Pandy... Can't wait... You will love your stay in malvern... Enjoy
Great site, would return 👍
An excellent, well run site with welcoming and helpful/approachable wardens. Nice and quiet with plenty of local walks nearby. We were passing through so only a short stay for us but really liked it. The facilities were spotlessly clean, couldn’t fault the site and we will return.
Lovely site
I really liked this site and will return again at quiet times. There is an issue with grass pitches at busy times because several large caravans with large awning and large cars squeeze the space of pitches either size and then complain if you happen to be a few inches too close. Perhaps caravans over a certain size should be directed to hardstandings which are amply large. As with all CAMC sites I felt very Covid secure and most people were complying with their systems.
No checks
This is a loverly site and as we have family near by one which will be used again and again.
We were unsure about visiting due to the current covid restrictions, but the wardens have gone that extra mile and with the changes they have put in place every one feels safe.
The only complaint which is a minor one, is that there is not enough checking on new arrivals to see that they have set up correctly.
We currently have a camper van just parked next to us on the wrong side of the peg. A small issue but it does close the gap between vans, and has now ruined a nice spot by blocking light to our patch.
As I say a small issue in the grand scheme of things, and had we just arrived I would have politely mentioned it to the camper van owner.
But as we're leaving in a couple of days it's not worth upsetting any one.
However little things like parking the right side of the peg can make a big difference to your neighbours.
A simple walk around by wardens would quickly solve any potential neighbourly flare ups.
Other than that a truly lovely site which is very well managed during a very difficult time
