Beautiful site, grass pitches small

We had a lovely weekend, beautiful site, weather was amazing, facilities were OK but unfortunately some people were not using the wrist band system correctly for toilets and showers, lovely looking site, staff were very helpful and showed me what pitches were available, shop was well stocked, unfortunately the people next to us allowed there dogs to run freely and poo and wee around our caravan and it resulted in one off us stepping in dog poo, I was not impressed, such a shame some people don't think they have to listen to the rules and spoil it for others, TV signal not great and phone signal is poor, might try the site again but go on hardstanding pitche

Lovely big site

Lovely to return again, glorious weather helped, was very wary due to covid but a wrist band system was put in place, if you needed the facilities you would have to put your band on a hook outside the facilities or wait in a queue to go in.. To which many people weren't doing I saw this on numerous occasions while there. These restrictions are there for a reason.. Also cars are no way doin 5mph around the site.. The site itseld is very big and was very full and was nice to see so many venturing out, didn't really see wardens about but totally understood this to do with covid. Went to m as lvern lover ly quaint village and also Upton on Severn was nice to.. The park itself was clean and tidy at all times, no noisy neighbours about we were at the top half, the lower field seemed to be a bit more compact but still no noise to be fair,, 1 thing I do think children on cycles after it starts getting dark should have lights on their bikes if they are zooming about the place... I no it sounds like I'm moaning but it's observations we made.. It was nice to chill and enjoy Bern on the Rd again, and enjoy the sites that are available to us... Next 1 is Pandy... Can't wait... You will love your stay in malvern... Enjoy

Great site, would return 👍

An excellent, well run site with welcoming and helpful/approachable wardens. Nice and quiet with plenty of local walks nearby. We were passing through so only a short stay for us but really liked it. The facilities were spotlessly clean, couldn’t fault the site and we will return.

Lovely site

I really liked this site and will return again at quiet times. There is an issue with grass pitches at busy times because several large caravans with large awning and large cars squeeze the space of pitches either size and then complain if you happen to be a few inches too close. Perhaps caravans over a certain size should be directed to hardstandings which are amply large. As with all CAMC sites I felt very Covid secure and most people were complying with their systems.

No checks

This is a loverly site and as we have family near by one which will be used again and again. We were unsure about visiting due to the current covid restrictions, but the wardens have gone that extra mile and with the changes they have put in place every one feels safe. The only complaint which is a minor one, is that there is not enough checking on new arrivals to see that they have set up correctly. We currently have a camper van just parked next to us on the wrong side of the peg. A small issue but it does close the gap between vans, and has now ruined a nice spot by blocking light to our patch. As I say a small issue in the grand scheme of things, and had we just arrived I would have politely mentioned it to the camper van owner. But as we're leaving in a couple of days it's not worth upsetting any one. However little things like parking the right side of the peg can make a big difference to your neighbours. A simple walk around by wardens would quickly solve any potential neighbourly flare ups. Other than that a truly lovely site which is very well managed during a very difficult time

Distant views of the Malvern Hills

This is a large site but roomy and attractive. We had booked last minute, so had a 'blue peg' pitch, we were lucky as we didn't get one of the ones near the facilities on old concrete. As mentioned before, there could be more service points, but it wouldn't stop us coming again to this lovely part of England. We walked to The Swan, about a mile, flat walk on footpath, and had a lovely meal.Only downside of our stay was being given a parking charge when we'd clearly displayed our valid parking ticket in Great Malvern.

Excellent Site - Avoid booking in at key times

We found the site to be an excellent standard, clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful Wardens. Unfortunately our arrival on Sunday 12 July was chaotic. We had received an email from the Club advising us to delay arrival until 1pm, which we did. On arrival 40 plus caravans and motorhomes were queuing and blocking the main road causing mayhem for other traffic. Amazingly the usual checking in system was applied. Enter office pay bill, go to pitch, report back. This was a little ironic since everyone was requested to phone the office rather than visit it. Maybe it would have been better to take a name, membership no. and car reg and let arrivals go to a pitch then return to pay the bill either by a timed appointment or at will. This would have been more Covid safe and would have released the traffic from blocking the highway and only necessitated one visit to the office !

Wonderful

Second visit to this site in 3 years, first trip after CV19, we went the 5th July first weekend of reopening. Excellent, very well organised especially as a very big site. It’s in a beautiful location, wonderful walk from the site. The pub down the road is still fab. Perfect for cycling as all flat quiet country lanes but there’s the hills if you want them.

Nice site, close to M5 for stopover

We used this site for a stopover whilst travelling to the Lake District. It’s not far from the M5 and is easy to get to. There is a mix of grass and hard standing pitches. We liked the site. But there are not enough service points and many pitches are some distance away.

9 days instead of 10

We arrived on 19.07.2020 to a long queue waiting to get on the site, not very organised, even people that were already on site were stuck in the queue. We were given wristbands and a barrier key and some information regarding Covid rules and requirements etc, which was put together very well. The site was very busy but we eventually found a hardstanding pitch, the TV signal was very poor, very pixilated, apparently this is very common due to the granite in the Malvern hills we were told, so no football for my hubby :( We notice quite a few things on this site that would normally not be allowed on other sites we have been to and found it strange as we though that all sites followed the same rules. Caravans and Motorhomes were arriving on site easily from 10am and some even leaving as late as 8pm, no regard for speed limits, I cringed at the speed some people were driving over the bumps in the road, kids were going hell for leather on their bikes or scooters, although I didn't really mind this as they were enjoying themselves, just a bit worried about the amount of skin that would be scraped if they went a cropper, and a few did. The toilets and showers were ok lots of water on the floors and wet tissues most times I went in, could of caused an accident for someone older slipping. We will not be returning to this site
