Spent a week here - our first visit. A large site, but don't let this put you off. The location is beautiful, the views and the walks superb and the site is extremely well run. A mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches - we ended up on a grass one which was a relief when putting in my awning pegs!
I'm not one for offering my gushing praise for anyone, but the wardens team really were switched on, professional and above all friendly and cheerful. On our next to last day there was an incident where a departing caravan detached itself from it's towcar and rolled into a caravan on a nearby pitch. Quite shocking and distressing for all the affected members and thankfully there were no injuries. There was substantial damage to both caravans and the electrical hookup post. The wardens swung into action quickly and effectively - this is what they are trained for I'm sure and they must see this sort of thing on an all too regular basis.
So, don't hesitate in booking this site - you won't be sorry. We'll be back
Excellent site with views of the nearby Malvern Hills
Despite being a large site we felt we had plenty of space. Our visit was during school term time so there were few children around and it was a lovely peaceful visit. There are only two toilet blocks and some of the pitches a quite a distance from the nearest one. However, they were not too busy as many people, especially during Covid, are using their own on-board facilities. The site is fairly flat and there are good views of the Malvern Hills. All site staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.
Local roads are mostly quiet and we enjoyed cycling and walking in the area. It's the sort of countryside where just about every field has a footpath or two running through it. The Swan in Swan Hanley has been mentioned by others (online booking essential) but the Plough and Furrow, slightly further away, is also worth a visit being newly refurbished and with an excellent beer garden. It's also easier to get a table here.
We came here primarily to visit the hills, which we walked the length of over two separate days, but there are other lovely places to visit, including Croome National Trust, Worcester, Tewkesbury and Upton. All the last three are on the river Severn, with walks along the river.

Nice site for visiting the area
We enjoyed our four night stay here as it was our second visit to a club site. After our first visit we were a bit afraid that we wouldn't like the club environment after we had a run in with an over officious warden on a smaller site. This time the wardens were great and offered help when needed but were in the background for the rest of the visit.
The site is huge but the facilities were adequate with the possible exception of the washing up facilities where we thought there was room to open up at least another sink. There is a nice pub within easy walking distance in the nearby village of Hanley Swan but it is advisable to book a table if you want to dine there. We enjoyed excursions to Tewksbury and Upton but not so much to Worcester.
A perfect end to our holiday
We chose three nights in Malvern on our way home from a trip to Cornwall and what a good choice it was. Lovely welcome by the wardens, excellent grass pitch (even though it took us a while to find our way round and choose one) with plenty of space and the site itself is in a top location. The facilities are okay but could do with modernising, the social distancing was as expected and seemed to work well. Access to the Hills is an easy walk away and a must. We enjoyed the surrounding villages of Hanley Swan and Upton on Severn. We can’t wait to return.
Pleasant but busy
Lovely site, good location for walking the Malvern Hills, nearby Ledbury is a trip to make, historic town, good eateries. Nothing to complaint about just a comment regarding the continuous grass cutting which is noisy if you are planning a few hours on site in the sunshine!. I know it has to be cut and the site does look good... difficult one. Would go back again.
Probably our favourite site
We cannot fault this site. Lovely wardens, loads to do in the area. Pitches well spaced out superb facilities.
Fantastic
Since lock down ended, we have been to 12 sites, and without exception, all the site managers were very stand off ish, boarderline rude.
Then we turned up at Malvern Hills, fantastic friendly managers. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Spot less facilities.
Pleasant site
Pleasant wardens ...always a good start.Lovely site although quite isolated so transport is essential.
Well maintained although some of the mens showers send as much water up the outside of the mixer pipe as through the sprayhead. All for the sake of a little jointing paste or a bit of tightening.
Members should all know and respect the 5mph limit, but this site seemed worse than others for speeding. Some outfits were doing at least 3 times the limit past our van and almost taking off when they hit the speed bump..Maybe more 5mph signs would help?I acknowledge that they shouldn't be needed.
Book early if you intend going to the Swan.Gorgeous place but busy.
A really welcome away break
We have just returned from a six night break at Malvern Hills. It is allege site and not surprisingly was virtually full. We pitched on a grass pitch on the upper area which seemed to have more space than the busy lower area. Our pitch was on the edge overlooking the site and was ideal for us with a wide outlook. The site is very well maintained and from the initial booking in at Reception the site managers could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The socially distanced facilities seemed to work fine and we tended to shower late afternoon and despite the site being full not once did we have to queue.
As expected during school holidays there were quite a number of families and children around on bikes and scooters etc, but they weren't noisy: just kids enjoying themselves.
The site is well placed for lots of places to visit and walks near or far, with quaint villages and picturesque towns. Overall we very much enjoyed our first visit to the site and the surrounding areas.

Beautiful site
This is a really beautiful site under Malvern Hills and as long as you have transport, so much to see and do, we hired a car as we came in a motorhome and didn’t want to explore in the van. The staff are charming and helpful and the showers are spotless.
Now the complaint, so many dogs, the well behaved one are great but lots of barking and yapping. The van that parked next to us, their dog came out and barked and growled at us and then we came home from a lovely pub meal in the evening we met a dog owner cyclist with two dogs, the dogs rushed at us, they were not on a lead and although not aggressive we felt uncomfortable. I asked the owner to control his dogs as they should be on leads, he said so what are you going to do call the police. We are not doggy people and really don’t mind well behaved dogs but the poorly controlled dogs on this site did not make this the great stay that it should of been. Dog owners please obey the lead rule and control you dogs. The people on our right had two impeccably behaved retrievers so some owners do know how to control their dogs
