Had a great stay at this beautiful site. Extremely friendly staff and very well looked after site. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived, and had just a short 10 minute walk into Longleat for the Elton John Concert. So convenient for Longleat, but also many other lovely places to visit in the surrounding area.
Great stay, and will definitely return, many thanks.
We have stayed on this site a few times before and it has always been very quiet but it has always been nearly empty. We went this time as we were going to see Elton John on the Sunday evening. We were disappointed that Longleat have now stopped the people staying on the site from going into the grounds which are a couple minutes walk from the site for free which we had done before and got something to eat.
We found this time the site quite noisy well after 10 o'clock with children still playing out riding round on bikes and bouncing balls , my husband checked the clock at one point and it was just gone 11! The site is very well laid out and clean.
We had a lovely stay on the site which was beautifully maintained and very clean as it always is. Loved the extra touches of the herb pots and the new games for the children to play since our last stay.
We stayed on this site for 8 nights. Beautiful site in a fantastic location. Good safe play area for the kids. Very friendly and informative staff. Very clean site with pitches well spaced out with lots of trees and areas for the kids to explore.
We had a two day pass at Longleat which all the family enjoyed. You can walk into the Longleat estate which is just outside the clubs ground. You can hear sea lions lions roaring in the evening. I recommend visitors to visit the bath arms which is approx 30mins walk through the grounds of longleat. There are a few other pubs within a short drive away. I also recommend a visit to a small town called Nunney. A castle ruin is worth a visit and there is a great pub/ restaurant called the Castle. Lots to see and do around this area for young and old.
We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend to others.
Note. Very poor mobile phone coverage due to the location of this site but you can purchase WiFi.
Stayed at the site from Friday 3rd June to the 8th June with our granddaughter. The site is very well maintained (although rubbish bins did overflow!!). THe team on site were excellent especially one of the male wardens who dealt extremely well and professionally with a young teenager misusing, and dare I say abusing, the childrens play area. The warden took the young man to one side - had a quiet 'chat' with him and the problem was solved. Not an easy thing to do - but the warden handled it. Of course, the Safari park does help add to the attraction of this site. My thanks to every member of the team......
Stayed here from Saturday 4th to Monday 6th June to visit longleat safari and to also have a break in driving back from Cornwall. Beautiful site superbly run by the wardens. Superb cleanliness and very neat and tidy all round. Great facilities toilets showers and laundry. Will definitely be coming back!
My wife and I stayed at the site for 2 nights 3rd and 4th June, we were very happy with the site. Location for the safari Park is amazing, location for pus, not so good, but there are some if you don't mind a walk.
The Wardens were by far the friendliest and most helpful we have come across yet, great effort.
If you have children, they seem to have a great time. if not, they can be noisy :)
all in all, a great stay and we shall be back.
Stayed here over bank holiday, and cannot wait to stay again, the wardens were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble, loos and showers were always clean even though the park was full, and we had two days in longleat itself at a bargain price.
The only disadvantage was the mobile signal was not good, and the clubs wi fi was not that brilliant, but that was a small price to pay for such a wonderful location. We stayed on plot number 81, and from there we could here all the animal noises, especially the penguins!!
Stayed here for 4 nights over half term with my daughter and son in law and 4 grandchildren. It is ideally situated for Longleat and we all have annual passes. The site is fairly big and had a park, an area for ball games and a clubhouse fir table tennis and films in the evening. The children love it here and are quite happy to play on bikes and scooters. Would recommend it but as with most sites some people feel it's acceptable to drive faster then 5 mph especially when they first arrive with their caravan and are looking for a pitch.
