Jewel of a site
Arrived on the Halloween weekend to find the site at it's capacity. The team of wardens never batted an eyelid and all ran like clockwork. Everywhere was spotless which took some doing with all the kids on site, and on 2 nights free fireworks thanks to the safari parks' Halloween display.
The local owls and sea lions could be heard throughout the night which only added to the ambiance, all in all a great time.
Longleat
We stayed at this site and had a great time you can walk into the park from a gate on site so no queuing,
you can hear the animals from the site,the site is very clean and well kept,games room for the kids,
there is a pub a car drive away or a 45 min walk.

Fantastic well kept site.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely clean and well kept park. Can't fault it.
Great for all
A 10 minute stroll from the site and you're in the side entrance of Longleat...away from the frequent queues at the main entrance. We stayed here on several occasions and enjoy it for a couple of nights, good walks for the dog up the lane, nice pubs within an hours walk.

Lovely Weekend!
We have just enjoyed a weekend at Longleat. The warden's Steve & Emma were lovely & friendly, and very helpful. The site was very accessible & the facilities were first class.
The greatest thing is that the entrance to Longleat is right outside the site!
We had purchased discounted two day tickets via the c/c & had a superb weekend. We left the dog in our van & just went back to him now & then to make sure he was OK. The games room with pool & table tennis was great for our son & friend also.
Plenty of other lovely attractions to do locally as well, but we went specifically for the safari park! Would recommend this site to all & of course Longleat.
October at Longleat
This beautiful, wooded site has a very special feature: the roaring of lions as you prepare to go to sleep: the ‘Serengeti’ experience in your own caravan , wonderful! We decided to visit Longleat Park although our first impression was a shock at the price of the entrance tickets. After presenting our Caravan Club card and proving we were bona fide AOP (how flattering!) our tickets were very much more affordable. After a day spent there, which we qualified as ‘superb’ despite a very cold ‘shower’, we agreed that even if we had had to pay full price, it still would have been excellent value for money. Once you pay for the entrance, everything is free. You only have to pay for your refreshments and souvenirs. While you’re at the camp, Longleat isn’t the only place to visit, Stourhead is a must! We recommend them!
We were at Longleat Caravan site from the 15th to the 19th October 2016. The leaves were just ‘turning’, the season being late, but the foliage was still offering a lovely coverage. The site is well designed, offering little ‘islands’ in the middle of the trees. Apart from being well kept, what strikes you when you arrive, is that somebody has green fingers: the reception building was a riot of colour, beautiful!
The very accessible, well designed sanitary block, near the disabled pitches (we didn’t visit the other), is not only spotless, it is WARM. With seasonal low temperatures (2.9C was the lowest) it was truly lovely not to shiver when taking a shower. We would warmly recommend this site. Not only it is beautiful, the wardens there are wonderful: welcoming, friendly and very, very helpful. They also have a good sense of humour – elementary, my dear Watson!

short break
We enjoyed a quiet short break at Longleat with the sole purpose of seeing the wild animals. Big cats and big wild animals were right up close on the drive round. A free CD to play in the car to tell you all you want to know made it much more interesting.
The site was clean tidy and had very warm shower block. Very helpful staff. Could hear the lions roar sometimes. 3 shower blocks and all in use. Great TV signal with the cable plugged in at the electricity post. Poor mobile phone signal.
Family Weekend
This is a fabulous site, it has great access to Longleat. Really helpful and friendly staff. The kids really enjoyed listening to the sea lions in the mornings. All in all a great stay. We'll be back soon.

Excellent week
We spent an excellent week at this site which was clean and tidy. The wardens were very friendly and the toilets and showers lovely and clean. We couldn't understand that there was only about a fifteen pitches being used and we had a large choice where to pitch. We have visited this site three times before and were disappointed to find that we didn't have access to the Longleat estate during the day and evening, but even so would return to this lovely peaceful site (apart from the roar of the lions and barking of the seal lions ! ) There are two lovely pubs which serve good food within a few minutes drive , The Cross Keys and The Royal Oak . Super site and will be returning.
