First weekend of 2015
Spent last weekend on this fabulous site. Perfect walking weather and dogs loved it too. The wardens were very welcoming also. We have been to this site several times and whilst we cannot fault the site and the surroundings, the highlight of our trips is the walk down to Chirk to the amazing butcher (McArdle) who has, apart from excellent meats, pies and lasagnes (which are great for easy dinners), the best Eccles cakes in the world! Well worth coming to Lady Margaret's for :)
