Excellent place to stay
This was our first stay and if we had had the time we would have stayed longer.
There is lot of space between the pitches although the ground was rock hard and we couldn't pitch our awning (major issue when all you have is a T6). Thankfully a very kind neighbour leant us a set of metal hard ground spikes so that sorted the problem out.
The staff were very helpful, the facilities were spotless, as was the whole site. Very quiet location.
It's a tidy but easy walk in to Knarseborough (very highly recommended). There is a bus route but we never saw one.
There is a restaurant on site but we never had the chance to use it.
The local Guy Fawkes Inn is also highly recommended. This is not a pub grub pub but some properly finely cooked food for not silly money, and a good pint if needed as well.
We will definitely have this on our to do list for the future.
