Sedgwick

The staff were friendly right from our arrival and were very helpful throughout our stay.  The facilities were well maintained and clean.  There were lots of lovely spots to choose from and we were spoilt for choice.  Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed their stay especially our walks by the river.

Fantastic site

We stayed here at the end of May for the half term break. Perfect location for us with two young children and a water loving Labradoodle. There was plenty to amuse the kids with, like playing in the woods, climbing trees, building dens and the play area. There are also some great walks to keep the dog quiet too.

Great site

Stayed here for a week at the end of May. Everything one would expect of a club site. Even though it was fully booked the wardens were pleasant and helpful. Great location and easy to get to. Clean facilities and good size pitch. A lovely break.

Outstanding location

This is one the best parks I have stayed in. Perfect surroundings beside a river. A camera lovers paradise.

Another excellent stay

We have stayed at this site several times now and it is a firm favourite with all the family. The site is laid out among woodland and has sites to suit everyone and a play area for the kids. There are numerous walks from the site and Kendal itself is about a 3 mile walk along an old canal tow path or a 5 minute drive. another good walk is across fields to Levens Hall which has an excellent cafe for a mid walk break and a field full of deer to walk through. The wardens are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning again.

Excellent Site

We spent a weekend at the kendal site and it is an excellent site. The staff were very informative and friendly. The site is well organised. We walked into kendal from the site which took about an 1hr and a half the site provided details directions and also a deal on a taxi for the return journey. The facilities are as you would expect on a club site clean and well equipped. The play area was adequate to keep our children entertained for hours. Some of the pitches are a little on the small side especially if you need to fit a large awning however the pitches were private. The site was full however you would not have known it was very peaceful. definitely returning to this site.

Peaceful break

Our first visit to this site and loved it. The welcome we received was first class and after a stressful journey after a vehicle fire on the M6 this was extremely reassuring. Loved the location as walks galore and as we are dog owners we were glad of the information given to aid us enjoy our stay. We will definitely visit again!

Kendal club site

We love Kendal we always have problems bank holidays site was full 9.30 am went to toilets no toilet rolls very disappointed with that.Spoke to the warden she apologised but said its because the site is full that is a sad excuse as there are enough wardens on site they need to buck there ideas up just check them in the evening and put toilet rolls in its not a lot to ask

Our first time out in Charlie our motorhome

Arriving some 6.5hrs late due to traffic problems, we used the latecomers facility which was perfectly ok. The next morning the staff were really friendly and helpful. The site is set in a forest location with lots of wild garlic, flora and fauna. Very quiet and an ideal location where children can play in safety. On our way back from Scotland we stayed here again and found the site and people just as lovely as before. We highly recommend a visit.

Lovely Site

3rd time here this year!  We have stayed each bank holiday and a week at the end of May.  It was lovely to see the forest change as the leaves began to cover the trees. Lovely walks in the area - especially one to Kendal. Great for young kids, as they can explore the woods, climb trees and make camps - Just as kids should do. This large site is broken up into small Cul-de-sacs of 5 or 6 pitches, so it never feels cramped or overlooked.  Only negative is that due to the trees some pitches can be very shaded (Obviously).  The site is kept in immaculate condition and the wardens are so helpful (thank You) We'll be back... Stephen..
