Visited the site for the first time on the first day open after Covid lock-down restrictions allowed. Telephone call from site in advance to arrange time of arrival and pitch allocation very good. Good procedures on arrival and frequent disinfecting of service points also very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location for bike riding along the front by the sea to Mablethorpe and fairly quiet roads for other routes. Site next to a road which only had limited traffic so mainly quiet. Would definitely visit again.
Escape
Pleasant site with charming wardens in a beautiful location. However, we are not used to being out and about in the school holidays and found it quite noisy but that is to be expected. I would say it was an ideal place for families. Not many of the pitches are on even ground so experience of levelling helps. It would have been perfect if not for the fact that people abused the covid precautions and the 5 mile an hour rule does not seem to apply to children on bikes as well as parents in cars.
Enjoyed a lovely week on this site
Just spent a lovely week on this site - two of us and our little dog. It's a large site so lots of room, no problem with social distancing. The shower blocks were spotlessly clean, as we knew they would be.
We enjoyed some excellent walks, the circular walk to East Runton and back on the beach was particularly beautiful - a walking route is pinned up in the information room, just take a photo on your phone.
We would definitely recommend the Corner House cafe - even if there is a queue it is worth waiting for. The Village Inn is also worth a visit especially if the sun is shining as there is currently no seating inside.
We look forward to our next visit and hope it won't be be too long.
Safer than home
We were a bit apprehensive about coming out of lockdown but we needn’t have worried as they had a covered the facilities were well run limiting access with a band system which worked well and to be fare you never had to wait very long. And as for the site it was lovely, very big site spread out around a golf course on the side of Inclboro hill some pitches in the woods some in the open. Lovely wardens keeping the site clean and tidy with extra emphasis on the cleaning and sanitising, nice area with lots of walks if that’s what you enjoy, easy walk into Sheringham and Cromer plus woodland walks on national trust land. Overall a great week and we will be back.
Seaside getaway.....
Weve just spent 4 nights in our motorhome at this gem of a site, nestled into the hillside surrounding the golf course at West Runton. The wardens seemed to work tirelessly at keeping the site clean and tidy and were warm, welcoming and smiley...especially the ladies.
I managed to locate a fairly level pitch (163) tucked away on the open field. However, many of the pitches are sloped and some are uneven making it difficult to level up for motorhomes particularly.
It's a 15 minute walk mainly downhill to the sea and maybe a bit far for anyone with mobility problems however the grassy beach car park is only £3.50 for the day, with no height barriers and plenty of space for picnics. I loved walking down to the beach and back, West Runton is a pretty place and there's even a station half way to the beach where you can catch a train to Cromer or Sherringham.
The Hole in One is also worth stopping at for a drink on the way back, lovely friendly staff.
I am new to Club life and was worried about all of the rules....I think I've just about got the hang of it. My partner and daughter didn't join me until the last 2 nights and were spotted by a warden who enquired if they were day visitors. They weren't and had been booked in and paid for but it shows that the wardens are definitely enforcing the "No Day Guests" rule and have their eyes peeled......he spotted my partners car!
My only negative is the WiFi. I had little mobile data signal so opted to buy the WiFi package for £11.50 for 7 days....it was slower than dial up at best and often no Internet at all. If I'd know how bad it was, I wouldn't have purchased the package. Having no Internet is not the end of the world but not getting what you pay for is a bit dissapointing. I was possibly in a poor spot but maybe poor wifi spots could be indicated somehow?
Other than slopes and wifi, the site is truly a gem and I would love to return soon.
Perfect post COVID retreat!
This is and always has been a fantastic site but was just the tonic we needed after working solidly since 20th March 2020. The facilities are excellent here and have been expertly adapted to follow the social distancing guidelines. Staff are exceptional, friendly and diligent in their care and maintenance of the site which shows. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Favourite Site
This is our favourite site and this year will be our main destination as familiarity is needed in strange times. Arrived at 9.02am on 4th July and there were no problems at all. A constant stream of arrivals all day were met with perfect organisation and a smile. The Covid measures are superb. Simple, effective and reassuring, the club have done all they can it’s up to the members to follow the rules and we’ll all be ok. Please remember the wardens are putting themselves at risk and cannot attend individual units to help as they normally would, cut them some slack. This site is perfectly located for enjoying Sheringham, Cromer and West Runton on foot, by bus or train. Try the Corner House tea rooms in West Runton for lovely lunches and afternoon teas.

A little help would have been nice
We arrived on the 4th and we were greeted with total professionalism, the site is large but well managed and you can find a pitch to suit your needs, be it a quiet spot or a more open area, all facilities were kept spotless.
The only down side was the attitude of one of the male wardens, on leaving we found we had a flat battery so my wife went to reception to ask about assistance, but all she was greeted with was by a man that could only tell her what he couldn't do and he really couldn't of been less helpful, i don't think customer service is on his list of attributes! Thankfully a fellow member was extremely helpful and parked his car next to my motor home in order for me to attach my jump-leads (rather than waiting 90 minutes for AA to arrive) and in less than 60 seconds we were on our way.
The organisation of the site due to Covid has been done superbly.

A very warm and organised welcome back
First day of opening post COVID. Pre booked the stay and paid over the phone and was given our allocated hourly arrival time. Pulled up with some trepidation however, hats off to the staff. They all had a smile, it was like a military operation and we were in, settled and ready to go within 20 minutes. They have adapted to the unusual circumstances with total professionalism. Great information on the changes to facilities and how we all need to follow new guidelines. Glad to be back in the old time tent’ - just need some sun now 😎
Stayed here several times over the last few years
Love this site.
Just home from or first visit this year, several more planned.
There is so much to do around the area your spoiled for choice.
Although a large site it is separated out with secluded spots which we love.
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
See you soon hopefully
