A very well kept site - the toilet blocks are immaculate. Entrance and exit from/ to the A303 needs extreme caution. A mirror on the other side of the road would be very helpful. The site is quite isolated but well positioned for touring. The Candlelight in the village across the A303 is pleasant and probably the closest and best but not in walking distance. Barrington Court near Ilminster is well worth a visit - a NT property.
Little gem
A lovely quiet site which is kept in immaculate condition by the hard working wardens.Dont think of this site as just a stopover,it is well worth a weeks stay to explore the local area and relax. The toilet and shower facilities are second to none. You can even purchase a cream tea from the wardens office.
Spotlessly clean facilities
We use this site as a convenient stopover point. Attractive site with impeccably clean facilities. A little road noise from the A303 before the spring tree and hedge foliage grows but not enough to detract from all the good things this site has to offer.
Back yet again
Second visit during the same holiday this time for two nights on he way back from South Devon to home (Romney Marsh). Great to see the site nearly full. As always siTe in great condition with spotless facilities thank you the Scullies, see you next year
Back again
One of our favourite club sites, we been several times. Just a one night stop over in the way to Devon. As always warm welcome, good facilities, very quite except for stored caravan alarm going off all night, once in our motorhome we didn't hear it but the poor wardens were not so lucky. When we visit his site we always goes to the Moo Shed near Chard their raw milk is just the best (and we Iive in the middle of Romney Marsh 2 miles from Honeychild Manor farm who sale and have won prizes for heir raw milk, the Moo Sheds milk is just so much more creamy, their ice cream is great too). But to the CC and the Wardens at Illminster thanks see you next week on the way home.
Really great site
Congratulations to the Caravan Club for improvements to the site this year. We've visited many times over the last few years and it's good to see the club investing here - a few more hard standings please.
Always a warm welcome from the resident wardens (Jill and Pete) who are a credit to the club.

Nice quiet Site
We enjoyed our stay here, our only problem was the lack of Dog walking we had to drive to Chard to find a suitable place to let our Dog have a run.

Peace and quiet
Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay, the site was everything we wished, we relaxed after a very hectic month at home. The temp wardens get full marks for all their hard work.
Lovely quite site
Hi visited here again this year again peaceful well kept site full time wardens Jill and Pete very helpful and temp wardens also top notch . Something for caravan club to look at is why have they not fixed 2 of men's shower cubicles as these where closed off for essential maintance last season is it due to the shower floors failings
Back Once More
Just back from a couple of nights on this immaculate small site which is so well kept by friendly wardens and now WiFi is here too. The toilet block is a modern cabin type with powerful showers. This a good stopover on our way back from Cornwall as it's just off the A303, but it is also worth a longer stay as there is so much to visit in the area - just need more time! Could use more hard-standings please.
