One night stay

Stayed there just one night as site is convenient for ferry which we were on early next morning. Termnal is about 20 minutes away. Site has very good facilities, clean too. We were sited on one of the outside pitches so no facilities at this pitch for waste water or fresh water. Though the site is well managed we thought that the price of the pitch high at £28.

Wonderful break

First visit to Hunters Moon and we have loved it and will be back. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Facilities spotless.  Only reason I have given Family a 3 rating is we do not have children so do not know. How very the children's play area looks great. Lovely position for walking in Wareham Forest

A Wet Visit! March 2016

We stayed for 4 nights and found the site to be of a high standard and very well laid out. Being a motorhome member we have learn't to take 'with a pinch of salt' site descriptions - most larger motorhomers don't move their vehicle once 'hooked up' therefore ease of access to places of interest is important.  This site is 2.5 miles from Wareham (where the nearest bus stop is!) reached by walking along a fairly busy road with no path - it's a bit hair raising - especially with 2 dogs.  Areas for walking are excellent - once off the road. Pathway at the rear of the camp is great - when dry!

Good break

We arrived and were greeted by very friendly  staff as always at the Caravan club sites. Facilities were excellent, very clean and tidy. We had a fully serviced pitch but were told that we could not use all of the pitch for our Motorhome and large awning because of fire regulations although we had a car, caravan and awning on the pitch next to us which used all of their serviced pitch.  The serviced pitches were very close to the road and the traffic noise was very evident from 7am onwards.  We were also disappointed to find that the only route to the Public House (which was a great friendly place and great food) was by walking on the road which was very busy with traffic. Not at all suitable for us let alone families.

Fab site

Stayed here with my husband and our 2 dogs. We found all the staff friendly and the site is clean and tidy. We liked it so much we have booked another long weekend in May. The area is amazing for dog walking

Nice but not are favourite Site

On arrival found friendly staff and a Nice friendly welcome Really clean showers and all was well looked after as we have always found on all club sites we have stayed on We had chosen a fully serviced pitch which was one of only eight and found all were situated close to the road which was busy and noisy from around 7 in the morning to 10 at night however We found the location to be good for Corfe castle the steam railway and Swanage We would recommend if visiting this site not to chose a fully serviced pitch and to go non serviced at the rear of the site away from the noisy Road

great site = great weekend

We spent a very enjoyable weekend, the wardens made us very welcome, a big thank you to them, the site location is ideal for exploring places such as Wareham, Corfe Castle, We went to Arne nature reserve, a great place to visit especially if you are interested in wildlife, birdwatching. The weekend wasn't long enough we will have to come back.

Lovely site

We only stayed one night on our way home. But we would gladly stay longer. The one member of staff we met was very very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, the showers blocks were warm. The dog walking area was a bonus for our dog as he was able to have a good run about. The play area for children looked to be very well equipped. Good to be able to walk from the site into the woods. Would say, give it a try if you are in the area.
