Great site

Had an absolutely bliss weekend. The site is spotless, as are the shower blocks. Wardens are very friendly and always say hello. Great place if you need to get to Poole, Bournemouth, and a lot of the south coast e.g. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The pub down the road is within walking distance, (1/3 of a mile) just be careful on the road. We will be back soon.

Enjoyed the stay

Slightly damp weather but otherwise a nice stay. Fairly peacefull weekend, children well behaved. Really clean facilities and friendly staff. Shame it's not closer to a Bus route a if you want to go further afield it's a good walk through the forest to Wareham. Will take bikes next time.

Some Buts

Overall site excellent, been now for the second time. Just a few but,s to note? 1, Water pressure very low when filling up at taps? 2, Road noise at the front, very exposed, could do with fencing along the main road part for privacy and a buffer to some of the road noise? 3, We did notice that some dog owners were putting the poo bags, in the normal waste bins by the telephone box. A sign is required, or owners must adher to rules when incharge of their pets.

Hunters Moon

We spent 2 nights on this site, very well appointed as CC sites generally are. The wardens were helpful and kept the place well maintained. Easy access made it easy to come and go. We will use this site again.

Perfect Break

The wardens were friendly and gave us a lovely welcome, being greeted by my name showed me the lady had taken the trouble to research her arrivals , the pitches are immaculate and nicely spread out with stacks of room, the kids play area looked good and we saw plenty of happy wagging tails coming back from the dog walk. Wareham itself is lovely, a proper English town. Site is perfectly situated to explore Dorset coast. Back in July if not before.............

Pitch perfect!

Could not fault this superb campsite. Very welcoming, spotlessly clean facilities, great little playground for the kids, super enclosed field for dogs to run and play in and spacious pitches which you can choose on arrival. Lots of information available to take regarding days out and local activities. Perfectly located to explore the local Sika trail and Dorset in general. Very convenient and easily accessible motor home service points. Many thanks, we'll definitely be visiting again soon.

A Gem of a site!

Just spent four nights here and wished I'd stayed longer.  It's a an easy site to get drive to and find. As you turn in, the welcoming expirence starts! Plenty of room to pull in, a feeling of space. The site staff gave a warm welcome, which felt more like family greeting than meeting someone for the first time! It's an easy site to drive around, with wide turns. Some of the pitches are on the small side and appear very close together. I travel alone and like to get away for some piece and quiet. Maybe not Ideal to pick half term week, but we can't always choose when we can breakaway. Any fears of being distrued were soon dispensed with. There weren't many pitches that were unused during my stay. Plenty of arrivals and departures, loads of families with children playing. But you hardly ever hear any noise, only awning pegs being hammered in, a little road noise and on one evening a lone chinnock flying overhead.  The site is spotless. It's a credit to the hard working staff. They even took the time to inform everyone personally of a locally burst water main that would disrupt the water supply and advised to top up the aqua rolls! One thing I would advise, is to take a good book and a chair when filling up your water containers as the pressure is a little on the low side, but that isn't a issue as you get to have a good old natter with fellow club members waiting to fill theirs! Well worth a stay as the surrounding areas are great for trips out sightseeing.

Tempted to mark this down just to ensure availability on our return

This site is a gem. The wardens were friendly and gave us a lovely welcome, the pitches are immaculate and nicely spread out with stacks of room, the kids play area looked good and we saw plenty of happy wagging tails coming back from the dog walk. Wareham itself is lovely, a proper English town with proper privately owned shops and hardly any charity shops. There was however a small but good Sainburys and also a Co-op. The walking is great and we shall be coming back later in the year to explore some more.
