Lovely site

Henley is a lovely site, cared for constantly by the wardens. The road noise is unfortunate, mainly caused by idiots on the road and heavy vehicles during the night, but didn't spoil our break. Henley is walking distance from the site, and is a lovely town to visit. Sit and people watch by the river or in the square. Sitting at the site, watching the many Red Kites flying around and the very tame rabbits by the showers. The only negative is caused by others staying there and not knowing how to leave the showers and toilets as they found them, or letting young children use them who don't know how / or wont flush! Yes one of the barrier sensors didn't work, but the other did, no big deal to use the other one. Was actually quite funny watching folk approach the barrier and getting frustrated...... :) We would definitely return!

Overall site was excellent just a couple of small niggles the barrier opening sensor was broken when we got there and still didn't work when we left. Another small thing the latch to keep the door open in the washing up room broken a 5 min job to fix. But the main gripe wifi was no existent by the play area managed to log on twice in a week come on caravan club it's 2016 all sites shojld have total coverage bye now.

Lovely stay

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay the site and facilities are clean and tidy. Our pitch was next to the main road which yes is noisy but this did not bother us. Easy to walk/cycle into Henley and from there you can go either way on the tow path. Bus stop 5 minutes from site takes you in both directions with a regular service.

Henley

Visited here July 2016, nice clean site , however grass pitches are not easy to spot and are too close together. It all seems a bit of a mess , also quite a number of blue peg pitches in good positions, wth awning pitches not easy to spot at all. The site is well placed for the town of Henley, the wardens are helpful and the facilities are immaculate .On the negative site if you are pitched near the road , the traffic noise is pretty bad !

Busy site

Stayed here for a week while walking the Thames path. Site very well looked after and wardens excellent. However the noise from the road was loud in the day, and we were at the back of the site. Grass pitches were close together, especially when our neighbours were allowed to park tow bar in, awning next to ours, and then also erect a wind break to mark territory! Our vans were 6 metres apart but our awning was very close to their wind break and we could hear their TV in our van! Its a good walk into town, along a busy main road. However the shop on site has newspapers and in town there is parking which is free after 5pm, and if shopping at Waitrose.

Lovely, clean site but rather noisy!

The site was lovely, welcoming staff, pretty surroundings and super facilities. But it was rather noisy at times. Traffic noise, a caravan's alarm going off all afternoon and a late-night firework display were NOT the site's fault.  However, the gardeners used a hedge cutter, tractor and shredder for a very small job, trimming little twigs off the trunks of trees, that only required secateurs and a rake. We were unable to hear each other during this lengthy operation!

5-star 4-oaks

Our first impression of this site was one of delight and as we checked in and went to our pitch we were very happy with the position we chose. Very private and loads of grass, trees and rabbits! This is very well organised site and the pitches are quite spacious. The toilets and showers were spotless. The shop was well stocked and the wardens were very helpful and friendly.  We had a most enjoyable stay and look forward to returning next year.

Lovely site, well kept but noise from the road

The wardens at this site were really helpful and welcoming. The site was lovely only spoiled by noise from the road. Pitches away from the road are fine. Very handy is the regular bus route (3 buses an hour) which pass by and stop near the site. They run between High Wycombe, Marlow, Henley and Reading.  Will definitely stop here again, in fact our next stay is already booked.
