We have just returned from 4 lovely relaxing nights at Godrevy Park.
We had our pick of pitches as there were only a handful of people onsite when we arrived so we chose the field closest to the play area for our 8 year old to enjoy. Upon arriving at the pitch we were delighted to see several families of wild rabbits mooching about our field.
The pitch was a great size, more than enough room for our car, van, awning and a good strip of grass alongside the awning to put the dog stake, camp chairs, airer etc. We had the entire field to ourselves until our last night which meant plenty of space for ballgames!
The facilities were spotless, the wardens were so friendly and helpful and our boy really enjoyed the brand new play area, especially as he was the only minor on site, he had it to himself!
We took a walk over the dunes onto 3 mile beach and had a dip in the (freezing!) Atlantic, enjoyed the dog walking facilities behind the site and chilled out watching the rabbits every evening. Such a central location for everything Cornwall has to offer.
Fantastic site, so quiet and peaceful with very little light pollution if star-gazing is your thing.
Will definitely return.
