First stop

Very peaceful and tranquil site. Facilities were very clean and ideally placed. The kids loved the little wildlife walk around the site and were surprised when we came across red squirrels. This was the ideal place for a first stop of a long journey around Scotland travelling from Lincoln. Would definitely stop again thank you very much to the kind people who work there.

Return trip from highlands 28 July 2016.

Great site and excellent location, we have used this site more than once when returning from the highlands, wardens were very helpful, we didn't arrive until 19:00 but they were still in the office. This site has no facilities but not needed by us, access is bumpy as described so pack well! Superb dog walk, best we have encountered, we want to return to explore the area soon.

Wonderful site.

We love this site, in fact our favourite on the club network. If peace and quiet is what your after this is the place to be. The surroundings are absolutely delightful, plenty of wildlife to keep you entertained. Fantastic walks even around the site. The wardens are great really friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area as well. We are looking forward to future visits to this site. We really hope the club never considers putting a toilet block on this site as that would really, really spoil this piece of heaven on earth.

Peace & Quiet site

We used this site for a 2 night stopover to Scotland. Loved the easy access from M6 and the peace & quiet was just what we needed to begin our 3 week holiday. We intend to come back and explore the local area further. The wardens were very friendly and helpful, lovely site. The sawyerbeens

Return to Englethwaite Hall

Last here in 1990s on seasonal pitch, revisiting now by myself. Site has been much improved over the years, without spoiling it's natural aspect. Still very tranquil ,ideal to relax and enjoy the nature on site. Very well kept to the highest club standard by friendly wardens Shall be back soon.

Englethwaite Hall 'Passing Through'

This is a great, well run little site . Its location, about 100+ miles North of Manchester/Liverpool or about the same, South of Glasgow/Edinburgh is ideal for breaking a long journey North or South. It is kept immaculate, as members would expect but the small team of Fiona, Lewis and Zorro the Cat, will always seek to surpass the expectations of even the most discerning member. A real gem, with customer service of the highest level.

A Great Site

We have been meaning to visit this site for a while and so we stopped for two nights this weekend on our way back from Scotland. Excellent site with a great choice of pitches, great walks from the site including to the local pub in Cotehill (excellent 30 minute dog walk away), very friendly wardens. Very inpressed and will certainly return. Highly recommended.
