This is a lovely site with large flat pitches, excellent facilities and welcoming wardens.If you are a motorhomer and rely on public transport we would not recommend this site other than as a stopover whilst travelling north or south via the A1M.The walk from the site to the bus stop or park and ride is wholly unsuitable for pedestrians and in our view extremely dangerous.It involves crossing a busy dual carriageway and the entry and exit slipways of the A1M.We were surprised that the club actually recommends this as a suitable option.Also there is residual traffic noise all the time and lorries visiting the adjacent council yard to be loaded with grit day and night.
