Cirencester

Returning to Cirencester the site is as well maintained as ever. Very busy but in past times when busy have found it to be a quiet site. Unfortunately this visit confronted with canned music in the facilities and, fairly adjacent to my pitch, two units arriving with five dogs. Do not go away for unsolicited canned music nor " love me love my dogs " - particularly when the barking does not seem to be controlled by owners. In our noise driven world two points for the Club to consider : Limit the number of dogs per unit to one and do not have canned music in facilities, why is it necessary and at what cost ? The Club could also consider dog free areas on sites for the exclusive use of those members without dogs.

It's as good as they say!

We are relatively new to Motorhome touring, and tend to restrict our trips to 50 miles or so. This is without doubt the best site and location we have used so far - it thoroughly deserves the good reviews we saw before we booked! We have 2 dogs and facilities for giving them plenty of exercise off the lead are essential to us - the dog exercise field is a good size, but the real bonus is the large and attractive Cirencester Park just 300yds or so away. Lovely, and provided your dog is reasonably well behaved it's a lovely place to walk/run them. Human beings are very well catered for too - Cirencester is within easy walking distance through the park, and is a really peaceful and historical place to walk around. The site itself is very well kept, staff are efficient and very pleasant, and toilet blocks spotless. Really enjoyed our stay last weekend - and have booked next weekend but with two of our grandchildren this time ++++++++

Perfect for exploring the Cotswolds or Bath

Very nice clean site in a wonderful location. One of the best dog walking areas I have come across. The ability to walk in the Bathhurst estate was a bonus and Cirencester itself was lovely. A thoroughly relaxing stay in a site which I would gladly recommend to friends and family.

Our favourite site

We love this site, we have been going to it for a few years now. The wardens are always friendly. The showers are lovely and clean. It has a brilliant dog area for the dogs to have a good run around. It's a lovely walk through the Estate grounds to the shops. There can be noise from the college next door on occasions but it has never bothered us. Shame that the holes in the road can't be filled but that's not the Caravan clubs fault as it is not their road.

Fantastic stay!

My family had a week here during the school holidays, it's the biggest site we've been on so far! Fish and chip van was lovely and the pizza takeaway was nice as well ( our boys loved it!). We were there for the club fun day too, it was a fantastic few hours plenty to do and very well organised. The staff at this site were very good to our boys, friendly, welcoming and explaining things when they asked questions, as parents we couldn't have asked for more. Cirencester is a beautiful town, we dfinately didn't see enough so plan to come back at some point!

A refreshing break

We have just had a 3 night break at Cirencester which was our first visit. The site and staff, although both full, were exemplorary. The toilets etc were a lesson in how to do it properly with all this set in an area of real beauty. The town was an easy walk away through a lovely park where you were made to feel welcome, a bit like Downton Abbey. Once in the town everywhere was extremely friendly and really clean. We shall certainly return here and soon.

Great Site

Stopped here for three weeks mid August. Very well looked after site by very friendly wardens.By far one of the best dog exercise areas we have come across. The only downside was the hit and miss of the Wi-Fi none the less we enjoyed it so much we have booked xmas and new year.

Great Site

Had a wonderful time here, the Site very clean and tidy. The wardens were fantastic. A short walk into Cirencester, which is a lovely town. My only gripe is with the wi-fi, which is rubbish. Having spent money to use it and not getting that service, the club should change their provider.
