First Caravan Experience

We arrived late in the day, it was getting dark.  The Lady in Reception was cheerful and very helpful, she radioed somebody to meet us at our pitch.  On arriving, we were shown how to get the caravan up and ready by 2 members of staff, they made sure we were settled properly and said if we needed more help, just ask.  Next day they came back to see if we were coping.  The site was well organised, tidy and other Camp users were friendly.  For our very first time as caravaner's, we could not fault the site, would recommend it.  On the Thursday night we ate at The Canal Tunnel and Inn, they done Pie night.....very good

Half term break

This was our first visit to this site but it definitely won't be our last. Upon arrival I was initially worried by all the building work going on at the adjoining college , noise etcetera however was soon put at ease by the friendly welcome in reception. The staff are excellent. We found the building work was hardly noticeable and we set up on pitch 32 , very close to the builders. The surroundings were perfect for our teenage son and hyperactive Springer spaniel with the dog field being large and well maintained. We also found the walk into the town past the tennis and cricket club to be beautiful and peaceful. The site facilities were excellent and always clean . Although the weather wasn't the best we will definitely return next year as we found so many pubs/restaurants that were very welcoming to both ourselves but also our dog. I would also suggest some paths were installed across some of the grassed areas to assist with access to the toilet block from the pitches on the outer edge of the site. Highly recommended.

Visiting Family

We have been to this site approx 4 times and found it very clean and quiet, used it primarily to visit the grandchildren just down the road. Staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend this site.

meeting with friends

Had another lovely weekend with our friends plenty of laughter good food and good drink. The fish and chips from visiting van were excellent. Just one complaint, we were at the back on 32 it was quite a walk to the facilities (particularly in the rain) and it was necessary to walk over the wet grass to collect the water,a gravel walkway would be an excellent improvement.

Good time Cirencester

This is an excellent site well hidden away and quite when we were there. Some may find it difficult to find but follow the directions in the club book and it takes you straight there. Good for walking. 15 minute walk and you are in the lovely town of Cirencester. Good place to set as a base for touring the Cotswolds.

Perfect venue

We were looking for a site near the Cotswolds for our autumn break and were forced to go to Cirencester because no other site in the area had space over the seven days we required. What we found was a gem. A beautiful well laid out site in a peaceful park-like setting with first class facilities. The site is only a shortish walk through stunning parkland to the town centre, which is well worth a visit. Nearby are typical Cotswold towns and plenty of places to visit. We also enjoyed long walks in beautiful and interesting countryside. Added bonus at the campsite are the visiting pizza and fish and chip vans which provided excellent fare for a reasonable price. We would certainly visit again.

Friends weekend

Had a lovely time again. Only criticism is that there were no recycling facilities on top field (we were on pitch 33) and we also had to walk across grass to get to fresh water and grey water. So both our feet and wheels of our containers got muddy and leafy, ideally a gravel walkway would be ideal. But will still return next year.

Quiet site, perfect central location for Cotswolds

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in October 2015; the wardens are very friendly and helpful. Good site with excellent facilities as expected from the Caravan Club.  We noted several comments about the sloping site - it is only quite a gentle slope and easily managed with blocks.  A pleasant stroll into town with all its restaurants etc (check out the Fleece Inn for wonderful food.)

Site as good as its always been. Facilities first class and wardens very helpful, must be a Jewell in the crown even the building works next door could not detract from a first class site.??

Beautiful Cotswolds

This is a busy site on weekends but the wardens were all very welcoming and the facilities were spotless. Great dog field, and the town of Cirencester is clean and plenty of shops and old buildings places to eat and dare I say have a good pint. Tetbury and Westonbirt are just a short trip away, so come and see for yourselves.
