Warm welcome

New team of wardens are really friendly and helpful. On arrival we were assisted with pitching due to wet weather making grass rather boggy. Toilet block has been refurbished and now has piped radio, which is a nice touch. Site shop is better stocked than most and fish & Chip van some evenings. Lovely field in which to exercise dogs. Best thing about this place is the ability to walk through the beautiful estate and into town without going near a road. Bliss.

Nice week

Another excellent week spent in one of our favourite short hops, always nice and clean, close to town, great walks, plenty of places to visit.

Lovely Cirencester

Just back from 11 nights at this great site, we loved the location with a walk into the town through the park. The handy Waitrose almost on our doorstep ,and a lovely range of independant shops in Cirencester. The site was well run,the wardens friendly, great toilet blocks, and laundry facilities. Loved the Pizza takeaway that came every week, though the fish and chip van was less desirable.Hope to return to this great site ,in such a beautiful part of the country ??

Sehr nett

Der Platz ist sehr schön. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Die Kinder können hier schön herumtoben. Auf dem Spielplatz und auch auf den Wegen. Es ist jede Menge Platz für alle. Alles schön und sauber. Toll

Not happy

We booked in for 4 nights to attend Faiford Air Tattoo. What followed was partly out fault but felt the sites reaction was not good enough. We parked next to the play area. We assumed it was for children and that their parents would be nearby and therefore supervised to a degree. What actually happened was that lots of children were allowed to scream, shout & kick balls onto metal objects for hours up until it got dark.  We complained to the warden who said that it's a child friendly site so he couldn't do anything about the noise, but he could do something about the balls being kicked on metal. He said they had a couple of spaces elsewhere so could move. By the time you have effectively packed everything away to move you may as well just leave. So that's what we did on the Monday. Our fault for setting up near a playground. However I haven't stayed anywhere before where children could be as noisy as they liked with no parental control and no responsibility taken by the site.

Beautiful site

My first visit to this site and Its my favorite so far! Spotlessly clean, well laid out and in a beautiful location. It's a big site but you would never know because of the layout. Dog park great and the grass mown.  The wardens deserve a medal for this awesome site. I'll be returning!

Warm and welcome

Just a lovely warm and welcoming site from the start of our 4 day stay, amenities very clean, nice to hear Radio 2 whilst showering, mainly the news whenever I was there, but kept me up today.  The town was just a small walk 20 mins tops, lots of lovely small shops, and the eateries if you wanted to dine out where very good and tasty. There were some drivers not conforming to the 5mph, which on entering the site you are reliably informed to maintain, but I would think at that point those drivers went deaf!!! It's a family site with small children please think.  Book early as it does get very full rather quickly. Well done Cirencester

Super site

We had a great stay for 7 days. (We were lucky enough to find our stay coincided with the Cotswold show, which was a bonus. Entrance is quite pricey but a very good show.) The site is just brilliant, a huge site but laid out really well. The facilities blocks are some of the best. And the Wardens are .....well just brilliant and so efficient at their jobs, which they do with such a good sense of humour. And the music in the WC/showers is great!!!! ONLY negatives: 1) SOME of the hardstanding pitches are quite narrow. With huge widths of grass between pitches (which is all very nice) why can't they be narrowed slightly in order to make the pitches a couple of feet wider? 2)After very heavy rain the entrances to the doggie walk are very muddy and slippery. It would be so much better of a path could be made directly from the road to the entrance (instead of having to walk across the grass).

Cirencester excellent But!

A very pleasant site well run by very genial wardens.  Give them 100% BUT is it really necessary to have piped Radio 2 in the Shower Block . Unintelligible words drowned out by the inevitable noises in a Male Shower and Toilet facility!  Music suitable for teenagers, if you could hear it.  My suggestion just turn it off.  It does not had value and is not a common facility in othe sites. Sorry to complain but really!!
