Lovely site as usual Caravan Club standard

We liked this site very much, find Caravan Club sites always very clean and pristine. Showers always hot and clean. This site very handy for lots of close by places to visit.

Lovely site

A lovely site. The toilet block was spotless and the staff all very helpful. The visiting pizza oven and fish and chip van were a welcome break from cooking. Both had good choices. The pizza especially was very tasty. We were with friends and found adjoining pitches. Everything was easy to connect up and the area where we stayed was quiet. The road to the site is full of pot holes and very bumpy no matter how slowly you drive but as far as we could see this was the only downside. A very enjoyable visit will stay at Cirencester again.

A nice area for a few days away

Lovely site and very friendly wardens. Some pitches very shady but if your lucky you can choose a nice sunny pitch. Worth having a look around the site before pitching. Nice clean shower block. The only downside is the long drive down to the site, which is absolutely full of potholes, not good for the crockery even when driving slowly. Other than that a real good site.

Good in parts

Be careful where you pitch up. Some pitches small and without sun. Worth driving around a few times with a pre-downloaded site map. It's a busy site and not somewhere for a quiet holiday, particularly in the school holidays and there were lots of barking dogs. The facilities blocks could have been cleaner and lacked ventilation. The road down to the site is full of pot holes and is a real boneshaker. It's a lovely walk through the park into Cirencester, which is excellent. However, no cycling is allowed through the park. A pizza oven visits the site as does a fish and chip van. Didn't try these but they did look good.

One of my favourite sites

I love this site. Location is great with easy access to Cirencester centre and Waitress. Walk through the park takes you to quaint old streets and small shops. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from many allowing dogs. Really good dog field fenced round. Large grass area for children to play. Access road needs some attention but that is probably out of the CC control.

Cirencester caravan park

Stayed here several times and each time as good as the last.lovely area to stay with nice walks through the Bathurst estate into Cirencester also ideal for touring the Cotswolds.site has all the amenities you would expect from a Caravan Club Site, only complaint being the size of the hard standings which tend to be on the small side.

The good and the not so good

Lovely site size and layout, BUT we unfortunatly got the rude warden's and had our weekend ruined. Will be sending a separate letter to the caravan club regarding this.

Large Site, but very nice

This is one of the larger CC sites and although it has a lot of pitches, the size of the site means that you don't feel too much on top of each other. Some of the hard standing pitches are quite tight - barely enough room for caravan and small awning (with the car parked across the front of the pitch). We chose a grass pitch which had much more room. The two toilet blocks are cleaned at separate times & so there is never any rush to get a shower in before a 10.30am closure! The facilities are excellent by the way and seem to have recently been refurbished. The site is well maintained by the friendly wardens and is generally peaceful. The town is a short walk from the site and the cotswolds are an easy drive. We used this site as a stop off point for travel up from Cornwall and it worked well for us

Superb for dog walkers

Usual high standard site and operation for Caravan Club. Only when you get there can you appreciate the access to literally miles of woodland and meadows. Travel to Cotswolds attractions is easy too.

First time alone

I have just spent 5 nights on this park. i was nervous as this was my first time away in my new van alone. I must say that the wardens were extremely helpful, and pleasant! On arrival a warden helped me hitch up, and another warden sorted the Arial cable, and tuned my tv in for me! My to dogs loved the doggie field. In all it was a great experience.
