Great site , friendly wardens and in a great location, easy to walk into town for shopping or a spot to eat , lots to do around the local area . Site was kept clean and tidy , good play area and dog walk area , shop had the usual items and good info room , pizza van and chippie van comes once a week , we shall be returning , would recommend.
Great site
This site is in a perfect location for walks, shopping and meals out, all within walking distance. The site has very clean facilities, lots of space for children to play and dogs to be walked. Despite looking near to full, no queing for the showers at 9am and toilet facilities immaculate. Wardens very friendly. Pitches a little close, but only noticable when site is full. We will be back!
Good stay
Had a very enjoyable weeks stay. Only problem we had was on leaving. We left at 11.10am and we were following out a large motor home only to be confronted by a caravanner arriving early hence causing mayhem trying to negotiate the very narrow lane. Maybe a BIG sign at entrance banning new arrivals til after 12 is needed.

better than expected
We booked Cirencester initially as our first choice site was fully booked, on arrival we were pleasantly surprised as the site is very nice. although very busy we were able to find a nice pitch with plenty of space between ourselves and our neighbours, all the amenities were spotless. the walk through the park into Cirencester is a delight we will definitely be back.
Great site
First visit to this site, 2 nights before going to Devon loved the site and location to town, site wardens friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Enjoyable stay...good for dogs
Clean toilet blocks and site. Best on-site dog walk field we have found. 20-25 mins walk through to town via park. Would highly recommend this big and busy site...
A nice stay
Visited on route to Devon chose this site due to its closeness to Cirencester town cen. A busy big site, facilities usual high standard, 20 minute walk to the centre of town which is lovely to walk round. Would come again if in area.
First Class Site - Please observe the 5 mph speed limit
This is an ideal site for the Cotswolds. Many areas worth visiting. The town of Cirencester is within easy walking distance with plenty of car parks for those less inclined to walk. This is our first time here. The site is well maintained by the wardens. First class service from all of them. The toilet block is immaculate and even when the site is full the amenities are very clean. This is a fairly large site with just over 200 pitches. I cannot complain about the club standard. My one gripe is that the majority of members staying here FAIL to observe the 5 mph speed limit. The wardens speak to those they see but many more are not seen. The excess speed by members is not just a little over the limit but in some instances far in excess of safe driving. Last night we observed a caravan arriving around 5.00.p.m. towed by a grey Volvo estate car which must have been travelling in excess of 20 mph. Perhaps he was racing for a pitch? Within minutes the driver was seen driving against the one way system at the same speed! The wardens have an unenviable task in trying to get members to observe the limit but members should take responsibility themselves. 5 mph is just a little faster that walking pace. Please slow down before a child is killed or injured.
Brilliant place
There is nothing not to like about this site plenty of places to visit
our 5th visit with grandchildren the pitch we had was very big 51 so feeling we were not encroaching on fellow caravaners
Nice and quiet
The wardens very friendly and hard working hope to visit again next year
We were told the chip van wasnt good but on Saturday 3rd of September we went to the local chippy on the road to the amphitheatre sorry dont know the name of the road a very good chippy and it was closed,so we came back to the site and the white chippy van didn't disappoint thankfully
Lovely site in great location
Visited the first weekend of September when the site was less than half full. It was peaceful with really helpful, friendly wardens. Great location to walk into Cirencester and only approximately 10 minutes by car to Cotswold Water Park. Our children aged 4 and 6 loved the play area and grass maze. We will definitely be back.
