Two days in March

A lovely friendly welcome on a clean and convenient site. Cirencester is very pretty and was a lovely short walk away with a good selection of places to eat. Cirencester park nearby is huge , we spent hours walking its woods and fields and only saw part of it . You can cycle from the site too although we only had opportunity for a very brief ride. A perfect site for us, quiet at night with an owl hooting in the trees, lovely hot showers with food nearby and walks /cycling on hand. We found the site easily and had no problems with access.

March break

Just had three great nights on this very convenient site to Cirencester with all its history, fabulous parkland and eateries. Very helpful, friendly Wardens who do a great job in keeping the facilities spotless. Shame some hard standings are rather narrow, especially as it was rather damp under foot. We did not find the approach road a problem, as many described. Will definitely be back to explore this lovely area. Sadly, there was a nasty mess left both in the men's and chemical emptying point - shame on the person that left it this way - just goes to show what the Wardens have to deal with!

Book up and enjoy this great destination!

We were only able to stay during last weekend but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were equally friendly and as always helpful and enthusiastic towards all their guests. The site was in great condition and I am sure the grass pitches will be wonderful during the summer months. The location of the site is superb. Don't worry about the access road. It is a doddle to find and you will soon be hooked up and enjoying a great stay. Cirencester is a revelation. It is about a 15 minute walk through the Bathurst estate. I would say that it is the nicest of the Cotswold towns all the amenities you would like all within very pretty surroundings. It is great as a base to explore the area. There is more than enough to enjoy over a long weekend. Book up and enjoy a great destination!

A bit damp!

Stayed here for three nights taking advantage of midweek discount. Cannot leave full review as the weather was appalling throughout our stay. Approach road had many puddles and much the same situation on the site due to recent heavy rain. Was met in reception by cheerful wardens who were very helpful with instructions and local information. Site appeared well maintained and the modern toilet block was spotless. Due to the time of year the trees and surrounding hedges were mostly bare but I can imagine it being very attractive in the growing season. Cannot wait to get back and see for myself.

Peaceful week

We recently stayed at this site and can thoroughly recommend it. Although the access road is quite bumpy it is easily navigable with care. The site itself was well laid out, the wardens are so helpful and the facilities are spotless. The walk to the town centre via the carriage drive in the Bathurst Estate was very pretty and the town itself has a good mix of modern and traditional shops. Overall location is great for exploring the Cotswolds and we will come again when the weather warms up!
