Superb

Excellent site and location. Within walking distance to Cirencester town through a lovely country park. Fish and chips and pizza visits to site couple of times a week. Many cafes and pubs in Cirencester are also dog friendly. Will definitely return.

Perfect location

Second visit to this site and won't be our last! Excellent facilities, friendly and efficient wardens and a brilliant location. A 20 minute walk either through the park or by road into the town which has everything you need. Plenty of children there during our stay ( site is very good for families) but if you choose a pitch not too near the play area you won't hear anything of them. All in all, a great site.

A weekend at Cirencester

We stayed here some years ago and then, as now, found it convenient for the lovely historic town and well located for touring. It is a large site but you would never know it unless walking around, so peaceful and relaxing. Lovely facilities, staff etc. Thank you.

SUPERB

Perfect location just on the edge of a lovely town. Site very well kept, clean and inviting. Showers and toilets spotless. Office and shop wardens and staff all seemed helpful and easygoing. Arrived for one night but stayed for four and would stay again if in the area. I found the place easy to find and access good. No complaints. Suggestions, quiet background music in the loos and shower blocks would possibly enhance the ambience in this environment. Dog walk area was good size and clean.

This is my review

We have been here several times and we have always enjoyed our time spent there. As previously stated by many others, the access road to the site is still in poor condition despite some recent improvements but that said, I am not sure who is actually responsible for the maintenance of the road. The site is always well maintained by the wardens who do an amazing job in keeping the place looking beautiful. The site is extremely popular with owners of dogs but not all of those owners adhere to the club rules. It doesn’t seem to occur to them that not everyone wants to hear dogs barking or sounding aggressive. Access into Cirencester from the site is a very pleasant walk through the Bathurst Park which is easily done in 15 to 20 minutes. If you don’t fancy the walk back, a Taxi costs only £5 or thereabouts. We are looking forward to returning to the site.

A week in March

We spent a week at Cirencester Club site during March when the weather was quite wet, and the site (particularly the hard standing edges) were very muddy due to vehicles taking insufficient care when entering and exiting pitches. This is also not helped by the hard standing themselves by being of the older double width type where cars have to be parked across the road end of the pitch. And finally the college approach road is of very poor quality with numerous puddles along its length, with one very large hole close to the site entrance which cannot be avoided due to the road width (possibly even a health and safety issue). The club needs to take action to update the hard standing pitches, and enter into discussion with whoever is responsible for the main entrance road. Otherwise the site is within walking distance of the town centre, the Bathurst Estate park and the Roman amphitheatre all of which we visited. Ultimately enjoying our time at Cirencester.
