Cassie - putting aside the way you were spoken to by this warden, did it not occur to you that if you'd booked a non awning pitch and we're moving to an awning pitch they might have been fully booked? Always wise to check with the wardens first, I'd have thought, just common courtesy really.

I agree with, Moulesy. It wasn’t your right to move pitch, Cassie, and you really should have checked with the warden first. Perhaps she was so flabbergasted by your actions that she forgot to be her usual polite self.
As an aside, I’ve noticed that whenever there’s been a complaint about a warden, it seems to have been when the complainant has done something that was rather out of order.

Putting aside the appalling standard of grammar and punctuation which in this day and age should never be this bad, I think that a bit more detail would be of help to those of us who wish to present an opinion. Personally, although I have changed pitches in the past, it is considered to be courteous and polite to check with the wardens first then no one will be upset and we will all get on better.

I found the standard of punctuation grammar and spelling perfectly acceptable. But then I was not looking to pick fault with a perfectly clear and understandable post.
I found yours lacking by the way. Maybe if you proof read it next time?

We have moved pitch before now on a club site, but, never before checking with the office first. We've also done that abroad, but again, never before checking that it is ok to do so. No excuse for being rude though, pointing out that the OP should have gone to the office first could have been done in a better way.

This reply is a bit late I know but was surprised on how many replies I had on my post in June just to put straight we could only get a non awning pitch for the first night of our holidays and then a awning pitch for the rest of our holidays so we had to move and the warden will have known that and the pitch we moved to the previous caravaners had left earlier in the morning so we no pitches are not to be saved so we moved the warden new we had to move that morning because of been booked on a awning pitch like I said for the rest of our holiday but that isn’t the point I except if that’s the way it’s done now we should have told the warden it wasn’t about been told,if we were wrong we where wrong but it’s the way I was told I always try to be respectful to people and hope for that back and that also goes for Terry A I don’t care weather my spelling and punctuation isn’t right life’s about been a good genuine person.
