Excellent site in a lovely location, perfect for walks in the grounds of Chatsworth house.
Site very good, well looked after and toilets clean and wardens friendly.
Only one gripe, you must have one, dogs messing on site, no attempt to go too the dog walk, but I will go again, so speaks for itself.
Superb site and location
Superb site, the booking in staff and wardens are very friendly and helpful. The shower and toilet block is to a very high standard. This is a great location for walkers/cyclists with Chatsworth estate and house being adjacent to the campsite. The village of Baslow is a 15 minute stroll along a designated path direct from the campsite and has various pubs and eating places. The village of Edensor is a 20 min stroll the other way with its picturesque setting and lovely tea room. A fantastic campsite in a lovely part of the countryside. Storm Katie joined us this weekend but I have to say the campsite is well protected and we did not experience the buffeting often felt in stormy conditions. We will be back at some stage.
Fab first visit
Lovely site. Wardens very friendly. With it being Easter weekend, had to queue to get in, but the wardens got through the queue very quickly and efficiently! Very nice clean site. Facilities very well kept. We will be back.
Friends
We love this site, it is always well looked after and the staff are always on hand if you need them. Great for us to meet with friends and we managed to find pitches close to each other. Easy walk into Baslow, about 20 minutes stroll, flat pathway all the way from going through the gate in the wall to arriving at the pubs etc. The site is peaceful, the facilities great. Looking forward to going back soon
Our first visit
Wonderful 2 nights, missed the musical comfort of the toilet/shower block!
Will certainly recommend and we're visiting again in November
Find it frustrating most weekends fully booked not realising people spend early December making provisional bookings for the whole season with no cost to themselves even on cancellation. I myself would be prepared to pay a non refundable deposit for any booking made.

OUR RECENT STAY AT THIS GREAT SITE
Again we have loved our four night stay.Once more the staff have been very helpful and friendly. We always try to come to Chatsworth twice a year.It is worth checking what pitches are available up till the last day or two as we have had a lot of luck thinking we would not get a pitch and suddenly one comes up
Tranquil bliss
What an amazing week here at Chatsworth. At any given point, there were between 2 and 5 adults, toddlers and a dog.
The site itself is immaculate, as you would expect.
We requested the key for the toddler bathroom and were told 'it's stunning'. Not often you hear that about a toddler room... But it's true! Decorated with Thonas the Tank Engine decals and featuring a mini bath with in-built seat, our toddler loved it.
The 'magic gate' through to Chatsworth made the beautiful house even nearer than we had thought. The village shop in Baslow is wonderful - make sure you support it! A ten minute walk (and it sells wine and beers).
The Wheatsheaf pub, fifteen mins walk, serves great meals and easily accommodated my coeliac, vegetarian sister and entertained our sleepy toddler.
The site staff are absolutely wonderful - the small shop sells
All you could need plus seasonal specials and bags of duck food.
An idyllic week - wish we could stay longer!!
(Fingers crossed for a cancellation - it gets booked up!!)
Five Night Relaxing Break
Had a lovely relaxing five days at Chatsworth Park Caravan Park. The Weather was excellent for March.
The Wardens very friendly and helpful. Site very clean andy tidy excellent for our dogs. Loved walking through the Estate and arounding area. Will be returning as soon as we can. Five Star Site
3 night visit
This was our second visit to a Caravan Club site - we're new to this game. We arrived on a Monday and suprised to see so many vehicles waiting to get on site. However, the queue was swiftly dealt with and we were welcomed by the ever helpful wardens. Each unit was given a key to a door sited in the walled garden wall giving direct access to Chatsworth Park grounds, where there was also a footpath the the village of Baslow. The site itself was meticulously clean and tidy. The facilities were clean, tidy and above all (when it cooled down) warm. We, like many others have a dog and the dog walking / excercise area was well kept with more poo bins than you can shake a stick at - well done. The site reception / shop had an array of items including local produce which was very reasonably priiced. Will we visit again, yes.
