The weather forecast looked good for the weekend so we booked a pitch at Chatsworth CC and we weren't disappointed. Pitch neighbours were friendly and laid-back; Service points were clean and well-maintained as was the toilet/shower block. Friendly unobtrusive site wardens and lovely evening walks in the Chatsworth House grounds. Recommend the food at Rowley's restaurant next to the church, friendly service and amazing meals. We will definitely be back to the site at Chatsworth!
Expensive
Sorry but find this site very expensive for facilities.
Really upset to be told off for my well behaved dogs not on lead as trying to set up awning.
They were sitting quietly by us and no trouble. Rules are rules but that was taking it too far.
Wardens complained at nearly every caravan near us as to pitching incorrectly or parking vehicles slightly wrong.
One word jobsworths
Again sorry but never felt so cross .
Fantastic
Another fantastic stay at Chatsworth. Yes, there was a queue at when we arrived 1.20pm but it was dealt with efficiently and pleasantly by the wardens. The site is spotless, and the wardens were always working away. Access to Chatsworth Park is just great and we and the dog enjoyed loads of really lovely walks. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

Perfect
Perfect location and stunning!!! Great for summer and winter....so impressed, thank you!!!
Amazing for dogs and humans!!!
Beautiful Chatsworth!
We are new to caravanning in the UK and this was our second site we have visited. We arrived at the end of the drive a little before 1pm and crept down the drive to be efficiently greeted at bang on 1pm. Very helpful staff, facilities very clean and great to be able to walk up to Chatsworth House from the site. Perfect, I'm sure we will be back, many thanks!!

First Time Visit March 2017
Newly back to caravanning and our first trip. Chatsworth is an brilliant site to base yourselves in the Peak District. Great walking from site to the surrounding areas,
Chatsworth itself is a gem with the bonus of the nearby well stocked Farm Shop.
Site facilities are excellent we had booked the Super Pitch which made life very easy.
A busy site as can be expected even at this early in the season.
Fantastic site
Chatsworth is a lovely site, very clean and tidy due to a hardworking team on site. The site is well organised, particularly at 'Rush hour' when people arrive at 13:00! The position in Chatsworth is unique and a particular strength. The staff are also particularly helpful and friendly. A great site, we will be back in the Autumn. Well done to the team at Chatsworth, you are doing a great job, given the site is so busy.
First Holiday of the Season
Me, my Wife and our 2 dogs came to Chatsworth as our first trip of 2017 and could not have been happier, my Wife has never been and I last visited the site as a child some 18 years ago and still has the same beauty and charm, didn't have to move the car all the long weekend we stayed as the site has everything we needed, dog walk was fine, great access to the grounds of Chatsworth where we spent most of the day walking the dogs, can not speak highly enough of the wardens really pleasant and helpful and work tirelessly to keep this site one of the cleanest I have been to, and whoever thought of putting a small designated dog wash by the waste water is a genius! as it was still a little muddy walking around the grounds I could wash both my dogs before we got back to the van, i wish all sites had this.
The checking in system could do with a re-think as the queues that build up are horrendous, as check in is 1pm we arrived at 12:45pm to be sat behind no less than 9 vans and it took us the better part of an hour to get up to the gate, granted access to the site is awkward due to the bottle neck as you go through the barrier but even cars that are heading back into site at around 1pm are stuck with the same issue and cannot get through the queue, this is however the only thing I can fault about this site.
Easter break
First class caravan site, but the pricing, ouch! My fault I suppose. Didn't realise that Friday 31 march would be classed as Easter, which is two weeks away. Two adults and a child, super pitch £88 for two nights. I only normally book a standard pitch, but in the past a warden has offered me a super pitch and not charged for it. Won't fall for that again. The site is local to me and we do love the peace and quiet. We walk the dog up the long drive to the site. I do find that drivers come down the road at some speed. Not be long before horrible speed ramps are installed. The checking in on arrival needs a re think. We checked in at 4 pm and the queue was building. There is too much time spent telling members all the benifits of the site and local area. YORK rowntree has a better system. Take your card, drive on and come back to pay later.
I know the site fees will never change. People like me keep coming back and the site is always full. I still can't understand why the club charges more for bank holidays and school holidays. The wardens don't get paid anymore.
