A fab location- my first Club site visit

Just returned from this site stayed 4 nights Crufts weekend... couldnt fault the staff excellent, had a problem on arrival with jockey wheel but the boys sorted it got my caravan on the right pitch. recommended a professional to come to the site to fix and within 10 mins of being on pitch he was there, fixed the it. I thought this site was clean and well maintained. dog walk was ideal for my dog... It was my first ever booking at a Club site have spent time on CL's but I would highly recommend and will be going back. I originally booked only for 3nights as the weather was good stayed an extra night with no problems Thank you Chapel Lane for an excellent time... nothing too much for them all

Planning beggers belief during the week of the caravan show at the NEC

The site, wardens, cleanliness and peace meet all the standards of the Caravan Club. The wardens were very helpful, courteous and friendly. But why, during the week of the show at the NEC was half the site closed and the only toilet block closed on Wednesday morning?

Lovely site and excellent location

Stayed for Feb half term, good clean facilities, friendly welcome and very well situated for Warwick Castle, Think Tank and Cadburys World. Lots of Nat Trust around too. Building work taking place but noise and disruption kept to a minimum, a lovely site to stay at.

Well recommend

This is a lovely clean and quiet site on the outskirts of Birmingham. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All the showers and toilets are spotlessly clean and modern, as well as the washing machine and dryer.  All in all a very nice site, situated in lovely quiet surroundings but very easy to access all areas of Birmingham.

New Year in the 'van :)

This is my first ever New Year in my 'van, and what a site to stay at! The weather was atrocious but the staff and fellow caravaners and motorhome owners were really friendly and happy to help out. Our electric cable had failed on us and the Wardens very kindly came out in the rain to help us and resolved the problem. I met some fellow Solo Tourers bringing in the New Year and we all met up in the wardens office for mince pie and choc log and general celebrations. The site was very well laid out, clean and tidy. Had its own information kiosk. The local farm shop is absolutely amazing and is a must to go visit. After the breakfast, you wont want to eat for a week! The toilets and showers were very clean and well look after. Bins and water points were located conveniently all over the site. Chapel Lane site is centrally located either off the A435 from Evesham of from the Motorway. Lots to do in the local area including the infamous Cadburys Chocolate Factory.

Useful to know

I much enjoyed a stay here over the New Year - a group of Solos picked it for its central location and it was easy to get to for most of us despite the awful holiday traffic! I don't have children camping with me so took no notice of the facilities for them - although there is a Play Area - I would prefer a N/A button rather than poorly rating that question. There was traffic noise from the M42 but far enough away to be just a hum and not a bother. Dog walk isn't the biggest but certainly adequate and outside the site not far to pubic footpath. Enjoyed it and will be back as it is in a very convenient location for me.

West Midlands Holiday!

Overall this site is great for main routes to and from the motorways. As we were there for three weeks, we saw a quick turnover each weekend depending what the shows were at the NEC etc. There is a play area for children too.  We want to thank Gerry the warden who helped us when our electricity failed. He found the problem and sorted us out which was great as it was very cold so we were able to get our heat back on and watch TV!  We look forward to visiting here again! :)

At last - decent showers!!

Have visited here before and it is an excellent site - lovely and clean and the wardens are exceptional. They have the bus timetables to hand and can even quote the the bus times to you! Excellent TV and WiFi too. What they also have is showers with removable heads - fanatastic!!  Did they actually have a woman in on the planning when they set up this site as I would love all your male planners to explain how us women are supposed to wash 'our bits' properly with the fixed heads that are on most of the sites! Will certainly be back again.

Christmas Shopping.

Couple of nights here after meeting family. Bus from gate on time and good price.nice driver told us where to get off coming back as it looked different in the dark !!Stalls in Birmingham all much of a muchness but good for a wander.Nice meal in Troccadara pub.Nice to see trams being put back in a city centre.Water in toilet block could be hotter (shower at 9 only just hot enough).perhaps some leaves could be swept by toilet block.but all in all a good break.
