The site has many places of interest nearby, not to mention the farm shop and cafe just up the road where you can get 10 percent discount if you are a club member both in the cafe and restaurant and in the shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the staff were very friendly. If i have one complaint, it is again, that the 5mph speed limit is not being emphasised and enforced. Even the maintenance crew broke this limit. Some people were well exceeding the limit. I only saw one other vehicle that was sticking to the limit apart from ourselves. However, over all a brilliant site and well worth a visit

Disabled facilities

What a pleasure it was to visit a camp site where the disabled toilets were so clean and well thought out. I am permanently confined to my wheel chair so finding a site where the access was level and clean made our decision to stay here well worth while. Congratulations to the site management.

nice site in good location, with ........

......... large, well spaced pitches. Unfortunately, the service pitches are not in the best location, (close to a noisy road). Paying the "premium" price may not be worth it. I am puzzle though why some campers choose to pitch up on these pitches and then don't make use the "extra facility", this can be annoying when the site is full and one has missed out on booking one to these pitches, intending to make full use of it!!! Facilities are as any other "club" site, clean and never busy. There is a great farm shop and restaurant very close by, pity the wardens don't tell you about "discount" for members. We only spotted the notice in the information room after we have visited! Easy to find, and just 5 mins from the M42.

First time and not the last time

So we stayed here so that we could visiti my son in Redditch in our Motorhome. A clean, welcoming and lovely site in a great place. We parked over the back in the Awning section and although there is a main road that runs by this side, as it was a weekend it didnt disturb us. It was a bit busier on the Monday but not excessive. As I said before the site is clean, the facilities excellent. Access to bus routes is a 5 minute walk away. All in all I look forward to returning in the near future

Excellent site

We used this site to visit the NEC caravan and motorhome show. Very convenient for the show, being a twenty minute drive. If you use it on the weekend for visiting the show then allow extra time for exiting the M42 to the NEC Jc 6. No hold ups mid week. The wardens were excellent and went out of their way to accomodate an additional night for us by cancelling a different site booking for us which allowed us an extra night with them. This was most helpful.

Good site just off the M42

Good site, facilities always clean and warm. Unfortunately we booked a non awning pitch and all of these were on Tarmac, this may suit some people as they are also close to the toilets or for a one night stop, but not us, we were there for a week . You live and learn it did not ruin our holiday just note to self for next time. Lots to do and see in the area and a good stop over, we will be back.

Great Site & Wardens!

We normally stay at this site when visiting the Caravan & Camping Show at the NEC. Late one night last week a member was obviously misusing the shower facility so much so that when I went to the toilet block at around 23:10, the place was flooded to the door! On calling out to make sure that the member was OK. I did not get a reply. Thinking the worse, that the member had collapsed in the shower cubicle, I ran back to our van, collected my mobile and called on a friend in the van next to us to come and assist! On reentering the Toilet Block, I called out again and I dod get a reply this time! I was told by the guy that he was " making good use of the free water" facility as he would be "...staying on a crap campsite for the following four days!" How he could flood the entire Male Toilet Block floor baffles me! On reporting the incident to the Wardens the following morning, I was informed that there had also been a spate of people vandalising shower heads, taking shower head washers etc at the site! Surely, as Club members we should all be ensuring that facilities are looked after and not vandalised. Having served as a Volunteer Warden for the Club, I felt for the Wardens who, like us, are fellow Members of the Club! Without their commitment, we would not have C&MC Sites! Forgetting the irresponsible act of that one member, the Site remains one of our favourite! Great location, Wardens and facilities! Thanks!

Few days away.

Not many pitches to choose from but our fault for being later than planned.Level and able to use short lead so thats main thing.At no time while we were there could toilet block be classed as warm.Good job water was hot.site info still says bus from gate to Birmingham but you have to walk near Becketts and cross busy A435.on time and nice drivers. Easy journey back to NEC,good look round show and back,lots traffic but only to be expected. always worth a visit.

Enjoyable stay as usual

We stayed for four nights, site was lovely and clean. We asked to be near facilities due to mobility problems and were sited next to the amenities block. The Warden was very helpful. Convenient public footpath nearby for dog walking. Will be back.

Lovely stopover site

We stayed at this site for a couple of nights. Although it’s only a mile or so off the motorway, it’s in a lovely location in the countryside - it’s hard to believe you’re so close to Birmingham and Solihull. Friendly wardens and spotlessly clean.
