Used this both as an overnight as just off M5 and also for a few days to explore Somerset. Small and quiet. Friendly and helpful wardens. Close to well served village. Large pitches. Good long dog walk. No tricky roads to negotiate to get there. Will use again.
Lovely place to stay
Our first visit was a nice surprise ! Small site, clean and beautifully laid out for privacy and to make the most of the surroundings. No facilities for kids...that’s a plus for us. Sorry, but we don’t enjoy them ! No toilet or showers...no problem for as we wouldn’t use them.
Easy 15 min walk into Wellington which is a very pleasant town with good shops and eateries.
There’s no drive over drain at the moment but hopefully that will be addressed before long.
Will definitely be back !

Convenient site near M5
Used this site as a stopover whilst returning from Cornwall. Its very conveniently situated near the M5. It's a small site with friendly wardens, and given the fact that it is near a railway line not too noisy. The town of Wellington is only a 15 min walk away, and it has a number of large supermarkets, pubs and a variety of restaurants, which prove really useful.
The site has been turned into a little jewel with birdfeeders and trees around the edges. The site is quite small, and has no showers or toilets, but is kept very clean and tidy.My husband even remarked he had never seen such a pristine elsan point. My only slight suggestion as to an improvement was the fact that when we returned from a walk at night there was no road lighting and no illumination at the entrance( roadside) to the site. As there was no pavement , when you were crossing the road cars would have difficulty seeing you. We also had difficulty seeing the entrance.
Very minor gripe. Will be using the site again, its very reasonably priced.
Winter weekend great site
Just spent the weekend at Cadeside, site is very well maintanied staff are friendly had us booked in very quickly. All pitches have hard standings which is ideal for winter stays, Cadeside is a sheltered site again ideal for the winter.
Being a small site gives the same sort of feel as a CL.
Will visit again.
Lovely little site
Always a pleasure to return to Cadeside
Flowers lovely very colourful, considering coming to late in the season
Site was full but peaceful, late evening sun people sitting out with their glass of wine .
Nothing for children.
Bus route outside, able to go all over visiting area.
No toilet block , that’s a plus for us , van has it all.
Friendly wardens ,time to chat , hard working definitely take a pride in their site , thank you .

Quiet & peaceful
A well presented site with beautiful floral displays.
This site has no toilet or washroom facilities but is so peaceful and easily accessible from M5 motorway. We have just returned after 5 enjoyable nights and it is a perfect place to visit friends & other places of interest. this time it was Clarke's Village and Minehead.
We are sure to go there again in the future as we enjoy using all the facilities modern caravans offer.
This was our second visit & on both occasions we found the wardens friendly & helpful, which unfortunately is not always the case at all club sites.
Great overnight stop off
Stayed at Cadeside on the nights of 3rd and 4th of July to break the journey from Carsington Water to home in Redruth Cornwall. A journey of some 330 miles. The site was only a few minutes from the junction 26 on the M5. It's a small site next to a huge caravan storage site. There was an excellent dog walk round the perimeter of the storage area where dogs could run free.
The site is beautifully kept by the lovely couple that run it. Loads of flowers round reception.
Ther are no toilets or showers but there is the usual service point for water, rubbish etc and set back is a chemical toilet emptying point. It was only £14 a night but well worth it. I think we shall use it again if we are travelling a long way North again.

Great find
We have been traveling down to the South West & back now for a number of years, we have always broken our journey around the Wellington area stopping at a local private site. However, this time we decided to have a change as the amount of traffic noise at our usual site seemed to be increasing & so we tried this little site. We were very pleasantly surprised at how appealing it was as soon as we approached the entrance, it is on a much quieter road so little noise which was great. The wardens greeted us with a smile & “ You must be Mrs Thompson Welcome to Cadeside” which was a lovely touch. The whole site was extremely clean & tidy with a nice dog walk, complete with shovels & spare bags just in case..... it obviously worked as no dog mess anywhere which must be a record! All in all a great find, just a shame we didn’t find it sooner.
We will definitely use it again.

Small but perfectly formed!!
The site is easy to find and the welcome is friendly. The pitches are large and the site is well maintained. The dog walk is safe and although not big, has a lot of trees and things to sniff!!
You can walk along a safe pavement to Wellington in about 5 mins, where there are shops, pubs and cafes. If you want to visit Taunton, the bus stops outside the site.
Attractive and peaceful
We stayed at this site in March 2018, we enjoyed a warm and informative welcome. The site was spacious with large hard standing pitches. All facilities were clean and functional and the whole site was very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and shall visit again. Recommended.
