My wife and I have just spent the last 9 days at Burford. The wardens were welcoming, freindly and very helpful. We needed some glycol for our Alde system and they not only found us a local dealer, but phoned them up to check they had stock. Thank you.
The site is kept very clean and tidy and very peaceful. Although Brize Norton is close by, the aircraft are infrequent.
The Cotswold Wildlife Park is across the road and well worth visiting. We found Witney has a plethora of shops and the villages of Bourton on the Water and Morton in Marsh idyllic.
The Club site shop has papers, ice creams and a variety of other goods. So useful if you just want a quiet and lazy day.
Highly recommend this site for young and not quite so young like us. Thank you again for a lovely stay.
Well Done Burford
Just spent a couple of days at Burford. Been motor-caravanning since 1978, this is as good as it gets. Plenty of level hard-standings, spotless and comprehensive facilities, lovely staff, and in the Cotswolds too! Shame there's no pub or public transport, but they are minor limitations. Burford is a nice town with everything you need. I personally don't mind the aircraft noise (we only heard one in two days, and that was a Hurricane!); the pigeons were worse. Congratulations to all the staff, and thank you.

Blissful Burford
Recently spent 9 days here and we found the site near perfect. Really peaceful. Two dog walks and the wildlife park is opposite the site entrance if you want it.
The cotswolds are all around you. We needed to visit Didcot, Swindon & Gloucester so found this site in the middle.
Toilet block was excellent, so were the wardens who loaned us a caravan step as I stupidly forgot ours.
I have to say though that in those 9 days our hard-standing pitch flooded 3 times in inclement weather.
Good family site
Just back from site, nice four days. Well laid out good size pitches and wardens very friendly and facilities spotless. Wildlife Park well worth a visit you can hear Ian the loin at night sometimes but no bother. Will definitely be back
May Spring Bank Holiday
Another excellent week at this lovely site. Chosen by us due to it being close to where our son lives. Very helpful wardens especially the newbies from York. (We northerners have to stick together).. Another visit to the Wildlife Park across from the site too.. we will definitely be returning...(October already booked) I would just also like to thank the friendly neighbours from Cheshire that offered to baby-sit our caravan for a couple of days why we visited our son, pending the arrival of our 1st Grandchild. Thank you..
Lovely family site
We spent a recent bank holiday weekend at this site in the Cotswolds. Nicely laid out, we had a corner pitch with loads of space around, and plenty of trees and greenery. Facilities were faultless although I do agree with a previous reviewer, the commercial (large) wheelie bins aren't attractive on site.
Our kids thought the play park was excellent, a nice mix of equipment for a spread of ages and pretty much unlimited space to run around! We walked across to the Cotswold Wildlife park, well worth the money for a great family day out and walking beats queuing up in the car to get in any day, we would definitely return!
Overall, a lovely family site.
FAMILY WEEKEND
GREAT SITE FOR FAMILYS WITH THE PARK OPPOSITE,NICE TO SEE PLENTY OF HI FIVE POSTERS,JUST A SHAME LOTS DONT STICK TO IT
GEM OF A SITE
Went with my disabled wife for a weekend, lovely wooded site, had a great time, the weather was good, and we went to the zoo opposite, was very good and we could take the dog round, been to this site before, and the site is one of my favourite
First time visit
We booked this site on the spur of the moment, as we wanted to just chill. What a lovely site and only 26 miles from home. Had a lovely welcome from the lady warden and her doggie lexi with the pink glitter collar. The site is very quiet and peaceful, grass pitch was tidy and mown. We had some miserable neighbours who sadly didn't even say hello. The showers were hot and clean and lovely and warm when you got out. Really enjoyed our first time stay and even Ted our dog sulked because we had to go home. Many thanks

Lovely Bank Holiday
Wonderful weekend at Burford May 1st- 4th 2015. Serviced pitches wonderful, plenty of room, only problem when downpour of rain left some of our hardstanding (116) underwater, drained away slowly. Cotswold Wildlife Park a fantastic day out for all ages and dogs welcome! Baby Rhino gorgeous !! Discounted tickets available form site reception for cash. Novelty to hear kookaburras laughing and lions roaring in the distance from the pitch. Really enjoyed our stay.
