Recently stayed 6 nights in very mixed weather.Site was beautifully manicured and staff were helpful and brilliant in every way, without being intrusive.
After heavy rain a small flood soon drained away.I really feel this site has potential for all year opening!Would be a real boon in this area with little competition.

Excellent site, and the staff are a credit to the Caravan Club. We really enjoyed our short stay and will be coming back next year, even if it's only to enjoy the site surroundings and the friendliness of the staff.

LOVELY LITTLE BREAK
WE HAD A LOVELY 3 DAY BREAK HERE. REALLY NICE HELPFUL STAFF , VERY WELCOMING. LOVELY CLEAN SITE WITH SPACIOUS PITCHES SET IN LOVELY SURROUNDINGS. IDEAL PLACE TO USE AS A BASE FOR VISITING OTHER PLACES. WILL CERTAINLY BE STAYING THERE IN THE FUTURE.
Weekend Break
Excellent site with good facilities. Very good pub in Shilton but quite a long walk! Enjoyed visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park. Handy for trips to Oxford. Will certainly use again.

Relaxing site
Sue and I, and Molly our Jake Russell, had a very relaxing weekend at Burford and will definitely be booking again. Friendly staff, large pitches, and within the Cotswolds - one of our favourite places. Molly says - poor dog walking facilities on and off site although she did find the picturesque village of Burford dog friendly.
Lazy days in Autumn
Booked for two nights' stay for a peace-and-quiet break, and enjoyed the site and area so much that an extra night was booked. Burford is a gentle cycle ride away via quiet back lanes (Holwell and Westwell), and in the opposite direction the Woollen Weavers at Filkins is also within easy reach through the relatively flat Oxfordshire countryside. And of course there is the Cotswold Wildlife Park just across the road from the site entrance. Follow a Friday cycle ride with delicious fish and chips from the visiting van, and the stay is perfect!
VERY helpful staff
The staff in reception are very helpful and pleasant.
The location is perfect for us to visit our relations who live in Bourton & Swindon, so we use it quite often. We initially could not get a serviced pitch as they were booked solid, but eventually after a number of phone calls we managed to get a cancellation. The lady's I spoke to each time did not mind my repeated calls, in fact they encouraged them. I paid off in the end. We will be back. One day we will have to go the the Animal park across the road to see the lions birds & monkeys we can hear roaring & screeching and no, that is not a complaint.

Ideal for us
We had a lovely time here, meeting up with a friend in their camper and enjoying the friendliness of the staff. We are particularly grateful to find a site that goes out of there way to accommodate long motorhomes, with a large pitch set aside especially. Well done Burford, you are added to our favourites list.
A well kept site
We liked this site and would recommend it but we were a little disappointed to see that the roads into Burford don't have a path. This meant location wasn't the best for us. Having said that we want to stay again to go to the nature reserve. Hearing the animals whilst in your caravan was a real treat. The site is clean and generally peaceful but the road can be a little noisy at times. The staff were very helpful and kind. An all round good 3 nights. Thank you to all at the site!
