Great Stay!!!

We arrived at Burford Caravan Club Site to a warm and welcoming entrance. The wardens were very warm and helpful. The site was very quiet and peaceful. The pitches were massive and had plenty of room for a car, awning and caravan on. The toilet block was very clean. They had two sets for men and women so you could always have a shower. This stay was highly successful, the wardens making it even better!! Thank you Burford Caravan Club Site

Wonderful Stay

When we arrived on site the wardens were obviously having to deal with the aftermath of a period of extremely wet weather. Despite stress undoubtedly due to restricted pitch numbers, they dealt with matters very capably. We were politely asked if we could use a specific hard standing pitch which suited the size of our camper. This we did and had a wonderful time on this very attractive site. The facilities are excellent, the wardens as previously mentioned, very friendly and helpful and the site location just outside Burford is ideal.

Great Family Weekend

We chose this site because we live near York and our daughter and family live near Southampton. The close proximity of the splendid Cotswold Wildlife Park is an added bonus. The weather had been awful in the run up to the weekend and The Club had decided it necessary to cancel some bookings because of waterlogged pitches. The wardens were happy to honour our bookings and arrange for us to be on adjacent pitches. Wonderful! Outstanding customer service! The wardens are friendly and helpful in spite of a heavy workload. Their welcome was warm and informative. The shop at reception is well stocked including morning newspapers. The amenity block is spotless with daily closures for cleaning staggered to maintain access. All in all a great stay for all of us. We will definitely return!

Lovely Site

Lovely site, friendly helpful owners / wardens, very clean, immaculate showers, toilets, laundrette and dishwashing facilities. If you have children, good play area and if you have dogs like us, 2 reasonable dog exercise areas. Overall would give it 10 stars if they were available!  We went back in March, weekend the site opened and we are going for a week in August, even though we live about an hour away! Fish & Chip van on a friday night, what more can you need!!

Burford Caravan Club Site

Nicely situated site in lovely surroundings with really helpful wardens facilities good also very clean, little bit noisy with traffic going into Safari Park but nothing major, good base for visiting the Cotswolds, we really enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent site and fab wardens

Just returned from 8 night stay at Burford and despite the weather excellent holiday. It's a pity that a small amount of club members with dogs fail to see that not everyone wants to watch their dogs fouling the pitch opposite! Yes, they dutifully picked it up but really they should get their dogs under control. This then leads to complaints from other members and it is not the fault of the wardens, who were in our opinion excellent and managed the site brilliantly.

Lovely site

A little bit of road noise from the Cotswold Safari Park opposite, other than that, clean and good for kids.

Disappointing Return

After visiting this site on 2 previous occasions we were left disappointed with our 4 night stay over the Easter weekend. On arrival, after a very tedious journey we had to wait on the road to get onto the site due to the queue waiting to book in, we were then informed that they were "pitch managing" and we were directed to a grass pitch,  we had to drive the van onto the pitch using the mover and it was sinking in to the ground then and it only got worse when Storm Katie arrived  turning it into a quagmire. Just to add to our disappointing arrival there was dog excrement next to the pitch marker post, which I stood on before I saw it and the young lad from the next Caravan kicked his football and hit ours despite the large playing field being directly opposite. All in all not a particularly nice stay and will seriously consider before making another return visit. On the positive side the facilities as usual were first class and the wardens were on hand to pull the vans on to the roadways ready for departure

LOVE IT

Our first trip away this year and yet again it didn't disappoint, we stayed here regularly last year as its quite close to home about an hour, and as usual we weren't disappointed! The weather unfortunately, wasn't fab, but our stay more than made up for it! The easter activities were enjoyed by all even if some of the clues for the easter egg hunt had us scratching our heads? One of my highlights as always is the lions roaring a fantastic sound! The wardens here are friendly, helpful and really join into the spirit of things, a real credit to the caravan club, counting down until we stay again :-)

Wonderful Site

We stayed here at the start of the 2016 season,in fact on the day that it opened.Met by very helpful and engaging wardens with the usual Club site introduction. We where guickly pitched and sorted out on a large pitch in well maintained park land type landscaping, which was a credit to the hard working team who took a real pride in the appearance and quality of the site. The close proximity to the very attractive Cotswold Wild Life Park was another bonus but there is much to do and see in this part of the Cotswolds. We will be back and have put it on our list of favourite sites.

Mark and Diana.
