We recently enjoyed a 5 night break at the site whilst visiting our daughter's family in Yarnton, Oxford. The welcoming and professional staff do a great job in keeping this attractive site up to the Club's quality standards.
Nearby Burford is a great place to visit (free parking), (car or bike needed to get there) with its medieval stone buildings, specialist shops and a selection of quality pubs.
Stow is just 20 mins by car, north of the site - another pretty Cotswold town - and with free parking for 2hrs. Scotts of Stow are a must for shopping enthusiasts.
Lunch in the sunny garden of the centrally located 3* AA Stow lodge Hotel was a must - the best Haddock lunch we have had in a long time and very good staff too.
Overall - well done to the Burford site staff, we will be back.
A Cotswolds Gem
We recently stayed at Burford for the first time. What a wonderfull site, with a first rate team running it. Site is very well maintained and all the facilities are clean and well maintained. The caravan pitches offer plenty of space and give the site a spacious feel. The aircraft noise was minimal and did'nt bother us at all. The wildlife park which is just over the road is well worth a visit. Discounted tickets can be purchased from the on site office/shop.
Burford is a wonderful place, although parking is somewhat of a challenge. The nearby Garden centre is also a great place to visit. Although we did find the food a tad pricey
We will most definitely return to this site.
Excellent site
We have just come back from a lovely 4 night break here.
The site is very well maintained, and the staff could not be more helpful.
There is a very small amount of road noise, but these are country lanes and the cars very infrequent.
The toilets are clean and modern. One time there was a lack of toilet paper in the men's, but all other times there were no issues. It was a May bank holiday and there was at no time a problem finding a toilet or shower free.
Showers have sufficient space for clothes/bags, 3 hangers and a bench. They are free, warm (adjustable) and powerful.
My 11 year old son loved the freedom of the site and the play area. He met lots of new friends.
For dogs there is a small (but big enough) area for off-lead running and meet & greet other dogs. There is a larger on-lead walk but it is near the road. The small area was enough for basic needs and there is a poo-bin there so you don't need to carry anything away.
Location - it is perfect for the Cotswold Wildlife Park - you can literally walk over the road to it. The site does discounted tickets as well.
It is a very short drive to Burford and about 15-20 mins to Bourton-on-the-water, so an ideal centre for visiting the area.
Will definitely be back. Loved it.

Great site excently managed
We have just returned from this site. A Special thank you to the staff who went beyond the call of duty to fix a tv reception problem within hours of notification. It is a friendly and well managed site. Good facilities which are maintained to a high standard.
We will definitely return.
The best site
A wonderful site, we have stayed several times, just gets better every time. The only issue we have is fitting even more visits each year.
As good as it gets ......
Really friendly and knowledgeable staff go way beyond the normal call of duty to make this a very happy site to stay in. The facilities and situation are perfect, it is wonderfully clean and well kept and there is a lot of beautiful local scenery.
Just be aware that a major Base like Brize Norton will be noisy at some (quite brief) times of day and evening, but the huge planes are interesting to watch. We had a theory that perhaps the existence of this base led to the poor cellular and wifi signals.
We enjoyed our stay enormously - a very therapeutic rest. Thank you to all who made it so.

Nice Site
We stayed here May bank holiday, its a nice site, however with the exception of the Zoo over the road you'll have to get around in your car, Please don't try and walk around due to the lack of public pavements. The site very nice and clean, Two shower blocks each, with the good old push button in the showers.. Some RAF Aircrafts land during the day, however I was fine with this as I work at a Airport, but don't let this put you off. Some very very nice villages to visit, but take change for the car park, not cheap.....but worth it. TV signal Rubbish, so bring a aerial lead and plug in at the power box, but depending on your pitch you might need about 20 foot. If you have a pet dog like me, then the on site walk isn't that big. Nearest pub about two miles away, but they close at 3pm until 6pm. Nearest village, approx 3 miles, but with free car parking, which is where we had a very nice meal. Morrisons and Asda about 15 minute drive. You dog lovers, 90% of the places we went to, let dogs in even most of the shops.... Would I come back again ? Yes but only if I was going south and was stopping off over night. Regards Dave
Contentment
This has to be one of the best sites on the network and four of the nicest and most helpful wardens you could wish to meet will definitely return again and again
