Excellent Site

This is a budget site at £12.50 per night with no facilities. Much larger than we thought with a choice of being sited in the woods or around a very large green. (field size). The electricity was able to cope with all our equipment running, the fresh water was a bit slow filling up our water barrel. Friendly and helpful staff. Walks from the compsite to the nearby villages of East Hoathly and Chiddingly approx three quarters of an hours walk each way. Sky and DTV good. Access was via a very narrow combination of unclassified roads, but we had no trouble. Dog walk on site in the woods and along the far perimeter. Nearest bus stop is at East Hoathly 45 minutes walk. There is a village shop and two pubs here. The Kings Head does a take-away menu too. Nearest supermarket is at Uckfield (Tescos). Brighton is approx 16 miles away. We thoughly enjoyed our stay and extended from 7 to 15 nights. Fully recommended if you like peace and quiet

A lovely quiet site

An unusual site this because of the narrow access roads and, of course, the lack of a toilet block. But it is well maintained by the first class and helpful warden (we met only the lady) and the sheer peace and quiet the site offers. This is a place for adults only we suggest, as there is nothing for children. The choice of an open area pitch or in among the woods is a bonus. There is an area to walk dogs, but unfortunately it is not fenced and dogs have to stay on a lead - surely something the Club could attend to?

Lovely peaceful site

Second time at this site. Lovely and peaceful, friendly and helpful wardens.  Relaxing place to unwind, just over an hour from home so perfect for a weekend break.  Short walk to pub serving superb food and loads of places to visit nearby or lovely walks.  Will definitely be back

Relaxing weekend

We have been going to this site for a few years as we discovered it when we stored our caravan nearby.  It is the perfect antidote to our stressful lives as it is very quiet and peaceful.  The wardens are extremely friendly too.  We return whenever we can.

Peace and quiet again

Our regular site for a few days peace and quiet. As ever a friendly welcome from the site staff and a great pitch. Weather not as we would have liked but it gave us enough time to enjoy the peace and time to explore the south cost drive. We will, continue to go back here given its location and peacefulness.

Short break

We stayed at Broomfield Farm for 2 nights having collected our new motorhome. The managers were very friendly, helpful and professional. The site was lovely despite the weather. The approach roads were narrow but not very busy. We had problems with our battery and the site manager was keen to assist us but we arranged for the company who sold the vehicle to rectify the problem. We would certainly have no hesitation in visiting this site again.

Broomfield Farm

Spent 4 nights here last week and found it to be a very friendly, peaceful and relaxing site.No facilities so need your own but not a problem these days.T.V reception was good as was mobile phone no site Wi-Fi available so if you need this you'll need to make other arrangements. Lovely friendly pub in the village about a mile or to from site that does great food and has a micro brewery next door so some decent beers available. Recommended for a quiet time to unwind.

First time

This was the first time we tried our new motorhome. The site was all we hoped for, very peaceful, good dog walks from the site. very friendly wardens and the choice of woodland or meadow pitches. We have already booked again for later in the autumn.

Tranquil site

Very pleasant site, although can be difficult to find as not sign posted from East Hoathly Village. You need to be careful as the roads are very narrow. Wardens very nice. The only thing is we pitched side ways onto pitch as the next van was this way and was told to park length ways in as the other one was a seasonal pitch. why one rule for them and another for non seasonal I do not know. 'however a very nice and quite site .
