Brilliant Site in a wonderful location.
Just returned from an idyllic weeks stay at this site and what a pleasure its been. The location is fantastic with the lovely Broadway, Bourton On The Water and Moreton In Marsh all within easy distance. From our arrival we were greeted by the super friendly Wardens who sadly were told are to retire at the seasons end. The site was immaculate with generous sized pitches in a number of locations, most are hard standings but we chose one of the limited grass pitches on a terrace overlooking the site and close to the Old Engine Shed which housed a limited number of Male/Female showers and toilets etc as well as the wonderfully restored " Wanderer" the first touring caravan from 1884. The site has a small herb garden that visitors can help themselves from and also has weekly visits from a Fish and Chip Van and a local Fresh Pizza maker who cooks on site from his own Pizza Oven. We thoroughly enjoyed all the site had to offer as well as the beautiful surrounding villages, not forgetting Broadway Tower which must boast one of the largest views in the country ( we were told from here you can look across no less than 16 counties). On site facilities include Toilet/Shower Blocks (2 including the limited ones in the Old Engine Shed), EHU, TV Aerial connections etc etc. All in all a perfect site in a perfect location, just as we would expect from the Caravan Club. A credit to both the Wardens and the Club and a site we will revisit again and again.
