4th Time

Last week was the fourth time of staying on this site, we have found it to be a quiet site, with a good welcome from the wardens. It is well positioned for walking into Broadway and we managed a walk up to the Tower, there is a café at the top for refreshments. The cooked Pizza service on the Monday evening was excellent.

A nice Cotswolds site

Stayed 3 nights on route to Wales, Aug 15 in Motorhome. A nice site with nothing to be concerned about. The surrounding villages and houses are all idyllic Chocolate box / Lilliput Lane picturesque. However Broadway itself is rather disappointing, the pubs are not that good and pubs/shops are expensive. They seem to be concentrating on making money rather than creating the Cotswolds idyll. If you enjoy hiking of touring the Site is a good base

We'll be back

We only stayed there two nights and it was such a delight. A friendly greeting on arrival with a choice of pitch. Nice and peaceful for a relaxing stay. We'll definitely be back to explore some more.

A very nice site

A wonderful site in nice surroundings. Toilets and showers are immaculately clean and pitches are level. Easy to enter and leave whilst towing. Not brilliant for children, the play area is small and far away from some pitches. We will be back for longer next year, instead of just a one night stopover.

Fantastic Site, couldn't fault it

This was our first visit to a Club Site and I have to say i was very impressed.  The site is really well laid out on two levels and all the pitches were a really good size and level.  We arrived late'ish on a busy weekend, so opted for one of the three grass pitches, which are at the far end of the site and very peaceful (although the whole site is to be fair).  The facilities are excellent and very clean, they have a clearly posted cleaning schedule too, which is a nice touch.  We know the area very well and this is an excellent base for exploring the Northern side of the Cotswolds especially.  Broadway is a 15 minute amble away and has lots of pubs and shops and there are loads of places to visit within an easy drive (or cycle). The staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful, all of which, combined with fabulous weather, made for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend :)  I would certainly recommend the site without any hesitation and will definitely go again.

Perfect

As a relatively new member we are just trying out sites. When we arrived we were told a pitch had been reserved for us due to the size of our RV. This was very helpful. Everything was explained well and the reception couldn't have been more helpful. They also told us about the potential problems of TV reception where we were if we had a satellite dome on the roof. We do and couldn't pick anything up. The site grounds were clean and well maintained. I can't comment on the toilets or showers as we didn't use them. Its a 15 min stroll into the village which is lovely and typically Cotswolds. Its expensive but you expect it. Some pubs allow dogs which is good. Back at the site I though the herb garden was a lively touch and I helped myself to some basil, thyme and bay. All in all we really enjoyed the stay and it will be one we will return to.

Probably one of the top Caravan Club sites.

Very pleasant caravan site that is ideally situated just outside Broadway and perfect location for visiting the beautiful Cotswolds. As with all Caravan Club sites the standards are high and the staff very helpful and friendly. We have just spent ten nights at the site (No 50). Note all pitches in bottom field are flat, with ample sized pitches please note affiliate sites. Overall the facilities were excellent even though the site was full. The walk into the beautiful village of Broadway took fifteen minutes which is best made early evening when all the tourist had departed to see Broadway in all it’s glory. We would recommend a visit to the Gordon Russell Design Museum but check opening times. Don’t forget to visit the Wanderer (commemorating the first caravan journey in 1860’s) lovingly restored and on show in the goods shed in top field.  A visit to Hidcote Gardens, Chastleton House and Croome Park National Trust properties is recommended whilst in the area. We loved the site, staff and local sights and also met some very friendly Caravan Club members. We will be visiting the site again for a weekend. Congratulations to all concerned a great site.

Great Site.

An excellent site which maintains the usual caravan club standards. We had our young grandchild with us. The play area was very good and she made lots of friends. There was no problems with children on the site. All were well behaved. The site is ideal for visiting the Cotswolds. The only downside could be (for some) the traffic noise from the main road although this did not bother us even though we were close to the edge of the site. A fish shop and a pizza van visit the site each week for those who want this facility. Overall we had an excellent visit and would recommend it for either a couples or those with a family.
