Pleasant and peaceful

We stayed for two week for the first time in August and September and enjoyed it so much. With lovely, helpful wardens and peaceful surroundings. Plenty of places to see and the bonus of being on the edge of a wonderful village with all ameneties. We enjoyed it so much we cannot wait to book for next year.

A Great Week Away!

We stayed here one week. First time for us here, what a lovely surprise finding the reception area as old train carriages! Great to see The Wanderer on the higher level. This is a must for any train enthusiast! Although there is a play area for children, we found the site quiet and clean. Staff and fellow caravaners were friendly and toilets and showers very clean. We would definately come here again, epecially as Broadway is only 10-15mins walk away all on a flat level. Brill!

Easy access to Broadway

This site is lovely and peaceful, friendly wardens and only a 10-15 minute walk to a fantastic Cotswold village. We unfortunately had internet issues onsite and had to contact air angel ourselves to resolve them. Another small issue was the cleanliness of the toilet brush..... I won't go into detail!

Immaculate site on edge of Cotswolds

The site is well laid out and beautifully kept by the Wardens. Facilities are well up to Club standards and the Goods Shed addition is very well done incorporating indoor washing-up, information and display areas, family indoor games as well as extra washrooms. The site also has an outdoor children's play area and a popular mobile pizza wagon calling twice per week. It is an easy walk into Broadway for local shopping and nearby Eavesham has large supermarkets. The local area of Western Cotswolds and Vale of Evesham is full of wonderful villages, small towns, National Trust and privately owned attractions, fabulous gardens and plenty to do and see for the whole family. Try Winchcombe for genuine Cotswolds, independent shops, pubs and restaurants, great parish church and a photographers dream. The nearby preservation steam railway is set to be extended to Broadway soon and this will make train travel possible from close to the site into Cheltenham in the future. So much to do we shall have to go back for another week soon.

Brilliant Site in a wonderful location.

Just returned from an idyllic weeks stay at this site and what a pleasure its been. The location is fantastic with the lovely Broadway, Bourton On The Water and Moreton In Marsh all within easy distance. From our arrival we were greeted by the super friendly Wardens who sadly were told are to retire at the seasons end. The site was immaculate with generous sized pitches in a number of locations, most are hard standings but we chose one of the limited grass pitches on a terrace overlooking the site and close to the Old Engine Shed which housed a limited number of Male/Female showers and toilets etc as well as the wonderfully restored " Wanderer" the first touring caravan from 1884. The site has a small herb garden that visitors can help themselves from and also has weekly visits from a Fish and Chip Van and a local Fresh Pizza maker who cooks on site from his own Pizza Oven. We thoroughly enjoyed all the site had to offer as well as the beautiful surrounding villages, not forgetting Broadway Tower which must boast one of the largest views in the country ( we were told from here you can look across no less than 16 counties). On site facilities include Toilet/Shower Blocks (2 including the limited ones in the Old Engine Shed), EHU, TV Aerial connections etc etc. All in all a perfect site in a perfect location, just as we would expect from the Caravan Club. A credit to both the Wardens and the Club and a site we will revisit again and again.

A winner!

I think a good campsite is made up of the following elements: 1. Handy location- beautiful Broadway is just a short walk down the road and there are walks starting close to the campsite. It's great not to have to get in the car. 2. Decent pitches- these were a generous size with plenty of grass around the hard standing. 3. Washroom facilities- in a week's stay I only had to queue for a shower once and the showers and toilets were always clean. 4. The attitude of the staff- always friendly and cheerful, and the site with its beautiful flowers was maintained to the highest standard. In addition, the fish and chips from the visiting van were quality as were the pizzas on site two evenings a week. We were surrounded by considerate campers throughout our stay and all of these elements combined to make a great holiday.

Gem of a site

We stopped at this site for one night after visiting the Western Motorhome show and were delighted with the facilities, pitches and the friendliness of the staff. The site is easy to find and is located within walking distance of Broadway that has some up-market small shops, numerous restaurants and several pubs. Many of the restaurants are fairly pricey but we ate at the Crown and Trumpet Inn that had a good selection of food at reasonable prices. Note if you plan to eat here I recommend booking in advance.
