Lovely visit to Cotswolds

Just had a lovely trip to Broadway site.  We stayed at the top of the site and thought the shower block was fantastic including the wooden caravan.  What a lovely place to do the washing up.  The walk into the village of Broadway was excellent and loved the shops.  Had a visit to the national trust property Snowshill Manor which was just up the road.  What an interesting place with all the collections and the story about Charles Wade.  The weather was superb we were very lucky.  The fish and chips were good and the pizza man.  Will definitely return to this site.

Love this site

We have visited this site twice now and the site is kept very well, the grounds are lovely also the staff are very friendly and helpful. Broadway itself is stunning, shops and pubs are really lovely. We visited some National Trust places and found them very easy to get to. We will visit this site again as we can't complain about anything it is lovely to go on a site and have toilet blocks very clean and warm at all times and friendly staff. Can't wait to come back.

Generic site

A typical caravan club site. Pleasant wardens, clean facilities, well maintained grounds and the bonus of a great location being walking close to Broadway with it's expensive tourist shops and diners/ pubs and easy drives to numerous attractions.  Care needs to be taken chosing a pitch as there is some road noise from the main road through the village. Had a lovely few days with wonderful spring like weather, in October!

Steve is a Prince among Princes! And the site is excellent

We had never been to the Broadway site before but our son and his partner (Who is heavily pregnant) decided they wanted to spend some of their inheritance with mom & dad. Everything went perfect, the site was superb, Broadway was a 10min walk away, beware the pubs are expensive, the Broadway Hotel whilst being a wonderful venue was expensive, for example 3xcream teas and 1x pint of lager £25.80! Thought I had been mugged, anyway the next morning dad was booked to cook the obligatory English to which I did, eggs bacon sausage mushrooms fried bread tomato and the dreaded microwaved beans that together with the heater blew something! Arrive Steve who understood the things I thought I did but didn't I thought we had blown the whole distribution board and I was thinking "More money" which in fairness isn't the case. This guy was so calm collected and knowledgeable he checked everything and the flicked the right switches and came on, this guy is my hero, thank you Steve you are a star and best of all I understand my motorhome (To which I thought I did) a darn site better than before. Fabulous site, fabulous people.......Thank you all but mostly Steve

Flexibility and pleasure

Having made a mistake with our booking we arrived unexpected to a full site. No problem the Wardens sorted out an emergency pitch for one night and we settled into this lovely site. Next day moved onto a permanent pitch and and enjoyed a few more days on this well run and friendly site. Lots going on in the area and beautiful places to visit around the Cotswold's. Top marks for the staff.

Love this site

This is our "go to" site when we fancy just 2/3 days away, not too far from home and it never disappoints even when as busy as it was last week. Great site, fantastic wardens.

Got it all

Ok so we were helped by some truly fantastic weather in which most places would look good, but even so, the location was simply stunning. With numerous footpaths accessible from the site itself and well located for walks along the Cotswold Way within a short drive, this was the perfect location for walkers with a spaniel. Site busy but well maintained with the usual helpful, friendly wardens. As ardent cooks, even in the van, we particularly appreciated the offer to utilise the herb garden!

Broadway

Lovely peaceful site. Easy access from the road , friendly wardens. Clean and warm toilet block. From the site there are lovely walks across fields and you can walk into Broadway either down the main Road or the back way across the fields. Broadway is full of small shops which are worth exploring or you can sit with a coffee and just enjoy the scenery. If you want to travel further afield the Cotswold villages are all within an easy distance. I will be back to this site .

Broadway my kind of town.

This is a very popular and busy site open all year, however it does lack a little sparkle and just seems a bit jaded and tired. It could do with a bigger toilet block and the dog walk on site is really totally inadequate considering how many dogs visit.Iam not trying to be over critical but this site is in a truly magnificent area,in fact the oldest village in England at least that what the locals say.Considering both King Charles 1 and Oliver Cromwell have stayed in town I think it derserves a slight facelift to match its marvellous railway setting.

Not far from home

Even though I only live in Stratford upon Avon this site was recommended to me for a break away from home.  Well it will be on my list of places to return too, friendly wardens, beautifully clean and tidy site.  Convenient for a leisurely walk into Broadway and easy to get to the Cotswold Way for anyone wanting a long walk.  Can't wait to return I went home chilled and relaxed, obviously the gorgeous weather helped too
