What a fantastic site!

We stayed here for 3 nights and so wish that we could have stayed longer. We were greeted by the most friendly and enthusiastic warden that we have met for a long time. We were so lucky and got the best pitch on the site, 117. Trackside and the beautiful scenery right in front of us, couldn't have asked for more. We are still using our own onboard facilities, but we did use the trackside dog walk . The wardens keep this site immaculate, and, despite being full, the bins etc were always emptied. The dog walk we used has a dog bin at the entrance/exit gate and also a very polite notice regarding using this bin, and yet some owners still did not pick up the dog poo, and we had to pick up other dogs mess when picking up our own. It is no wonder that so many sites don't have a dedicated dog area and also that so many attractions will not allow dogs. The little garage shop, opposite the entrance has a good stock of everything you could want, and the visiting catering vans are a really nice addition, allowing us to treat ourselves without leaving our beautiful spot. The walk into the beautiful town of Broadway, was nice and easy, with a good, wide path all the way. We did have a look around the station, but did not travel on the steam train on this occasion. We also travelled to nearby Dovers Hill, it was beautiful. A free car park, which we easily parked our motorhome in, and the views are amazing. Then a steep, but gentle walk down to Chipping Campden , and back up again. Yes, it is steep, but easily managed if you take your time. There is even a seat to rest for a while, at the top of the hill. We will definitely be coming back to this site, just wish it was closer to us, not 200 miles away, as we would be using it frequently. We felt so relaxed and chilled, something that we all need right now.

Dog Walk

We have just spent two weeks on this lovely site, the best onsite dog walk we have found but beware it states in the caravan sites book and on the web that there is a dog walk from site it is not correct THERE IS NO DOG WALK FROM THE SITE and this is not the first time we have come across this misinformation on a site from now on we will be ringing site before we book you would think they could at least get it right. Apart from that lie the site is lovely, good wardens, lovely greenary, hedges between some pitches, lots of grass areas, site is clean and tidy with clean showers and toilets ( although they have got the heating on the doors a wide open so they a wasting our money and it is not very warm )garage and small shop opposite site entrance and short walk into village,it is truly a great site would we come back NO as you are limited with dog walking.

Wonderful as ever

This has become our favourite site, peaceful, well laid out with a feeling of space compared to others we have visited. Always a friendly welcome and with just a short stroll into the centre of the beautiful Cotswold village. What's not to like?

Fabulous

Spent two nights here recently and fell in love with this site. It’s a local one for us and we can see us spending many weekends here. Location wise it’s perfect. 20 mins walk into beautiful Broadway with all its fabulous shops and eateries. The steam train passing by at the weekends is an unexpected treat. On site the wardens are superb and the site is immaculate. The facilities are great too and there is a convenient short dig walk. The site has visiting fish and chips, steak and also a pizza van so lots of reasons not to cook. Handy garage and small shop right opposite site too. Highly recommended for exploring the Cotswolds.

Always a joy!

We love visiting the Caravan & Motorhome Club at Broadway. It is a lovely site with different & delicious visiting food vans in the evenings, steam trains going past & within walking distance of a beautiful cotswold village it has so much going for it & then lovely wardens on top of that - what’s not to like?! We are hoping to visit again soon as it is often on route to the south for us - & a welcome start to our holiday no matter what time of the year - or sometimes we enjoy a visit on the way back home.

One of our favourite Club sites

We've previously visited this site a couple of time and it has become one of our favourite sites. The site staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful and they maintain the whole site to a very high standard. The facilities block is cleaned to a high standard and the whole site is beautiful. It's just a short flat walk to Broadway and there are plenty of lovely walks from the site. We can also recommend Pizza Alfresco who visit this site on a Monday (they also visit other C&MC sites in the area). We have already made plans to return next year.

Return Visit

By my calculation this was our 5th visit to Broadway and it doesn't disappoint. Over the years the greenery has grown up which gives the site a mature feel. This time we were pitched just down from reception so there was a little noise from the nearby road but nothing to spoil the stay. As we are using our own facilities so I cannot comment on the toilet block, although I did note the higher block was closed but don't know why. The site has one of the more modern open grill motorhome points which is welcome. Mobile food vendors are on site several days a week and reception can provide details. It is a reasonably easy walk into Broadway which was pretty busy during our visit. The major change from our previous visit was that the rebuilding of Broadway Station is complete and steam trains are running.

Perfect place to relax

My family and I have just returned from a seven night stay at the Broadway club site and what a wonderful site it is. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made sure the grounds and facilities were well cared for. We had a sunny pitch with a large hedge-lined grass area behind it. This gave a lovely secluded place to sit, relax and listen to the beautiful sound of the passing steam engines. We liked the fact that the main village was only a 15/20 minute walk from the site and enjoyed strolling around the charming, unique selection of shops. The Cotswolds is such a beautiful part of the country and this site provides the perfect base to explore. We look forward to returning again soon.
