Difficult to find at night.

Brighton caravan site was up to the usual good standard of CMC but finding it at night was difficult. The sign for caravans was there but when you look in the direction it looks like a car park. Not wanting to pull into a cul-de-sac we continued only to get further lost.

Excellent Stay With Our Two Dogs

Stayed here Jan 2018. Location excellent although quite a distance from the main Brighton attractions on foot. Quiet and Peaceful. Fab shower/toilet facilities and spotlessley clean. Lots of dog walking around. There is a sign that dog fouling on site is prohibited which wasn't a problem as there was a fenced off piece of land within the site you could let your dog go then pick up and put in the bin provided. Very friendly helpful staff. Great pitches. Local supermarkets. Can imagine it gets noisy when children are there but there is a designated play area. Would definitley return.

Dog owners spoiling for others!

Been here many many times over a 10+ years, always very clean and tidy wardens very helpful. Lots to do in area and love Brighton lanes....but, last few visits have been spoiled by inconsiderate dog owners. There are NO dog walking--toilet--facilities on site but dog owners ignore this rule. Before dog owners say a few spoil it for the many, I would say 90% of dog owners chose to walk their dogs on site rather walk 100 Yds. to walk off site. Time to say if no dog toilet facilities on site NO dogs.

Christmas in Brighton

A first for us as returning caravanners to spend Christmas using the caravan as a base and the site to visit our children and grandchildren. It worked very well and will most probably be repeated.Thank you to the welcoming site staff who made us welcome on arrival and throughout our stay.

Clean & Tidy

Second visit to the site has snowed on both occasions but don't stop us getting out and about. Always loads to do and plenty of walking along the front. Facilities were warm and clean. Will visit again.

Winter break

My wife and I aged 65+ used this site for a 3 night break starting 3rd December 2017. We expected that there wouldn’t be many other campers and we were surprised to find that the site was busy, we didn’t see any “young” campers. Most of the members were probably in the retirement bracket. The site was very clean and well maintained. The toilet blocks were extremely clean, the temperature maintained at 20 -22 degrees coupled with piped music. The only downside of this site is that it’s in a quiet location of Brighton near the marina and located at the end of a long driveway which is unlit and makes you feel vulnerable if walking after dark. Access into Brighton centre or the marina is very easy by frequent bus transport. However the walk to the bus stop is ok but not very pleasant after dark. The wardens were very pleasant, friendly and helpful and had a good knowledge of the area. Lovely site which I will visit again and strongly recommend to others.

Never get tired of Brighton

Spent another 8 days here at the end of November. Apart from a weekend rally the site was pretty quiet. Facilities spotless as always. Rottingdean is a lovely place to walk to, along the undercliff walk, with an excellent museum featuring Kipling and Burne Jones. We tend to walk or bus as the traffic around Brighton is horrendous. Site is an excellent base for seeing Sussex.

Oh dear what have we done..........!!

This site measures up to all of the high standards one has come to expect from the Caravan Club. However we are now part of the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Believe me that has a huge impact. When we visited this site recently expecting a quiet end of season break the place was heaving with Motorhomes. Lots of engines running. Lots of chaos around the motorhome waste disposal and for some reason most seemed to have dogs. So there was always one dog barking at any one time. Goodness knows what it will be like in high season. Perhaps us established caravanners won't be able to get in.

Favourite site

Had yet another great stay here, the wardens very welcoming and friendly. Not sure why the toilet block needs to be shut for cleaning for so long when it is not over busy. The hot water in the dishwashing area was far from hot, I did report it, it didn't seem to improve. Great location.
