We have just spent a week at the Brecon site and couldn't fault it. The facilities were immaculate and such friendly and helpful wardens. The walking and cycling in the area is amazing and being able to walk and cycle into Brecon an added bonus. Views from our pitch were gorgeous (89) and fellow caravanners quiet and friendly. Climbing Pen Y Fan horseshoe highlight of trip, will definitely return. Thank you to wardens who work so hard to maintain high standards.
Lovely site
Stayed here in 2011 when the site was known as Brynich. Returned for three nights over the Easter weekend. I have two dogs so plenty of walks to keep the dogs happy. The only downside is the dog walking area in the site was a little narrow and the ground uneven. Also there were a few branches with thorns over the ground where the hedges had been cut. The toilet blocks were immaculate and had been upgraded since 2011. The lovely town of Brecon is a 30 minute walk away along the canal tow path and a dog friendly pub which serves excellent food is only a ten minute walk away.
The wardens were extremly friendly and dog lovers themselves .
Will Definetly return

Great site, super location with stunning view of Pen-y-Fan, could see the challenge before the climb!
It is just a shame that the 5mph speed limit is not recognised by a lot of drivers. We witnessed a driver pass some children who were walking on the road by driving at speed on the grass past them, could have been very nasty.
Will return to this site
Not as nice as we hoped
A very big site, very busy and adjacent to a busy road junction hence noisy. Fortunately it was a one night stop for us so it was not a problem. Could not stay for more than a few nights though. Great wardens (as always) and good facilities. Brecon is a bit naff. Old and tired looking. Expected something better for a town that gives its name to an area that is so beautiful. Drive along A40 is very enjoyable round the edge of the NP.
SUPERB LOCATION
We have been going to this site since the 1980s and returned recently to discover the improvements made during the closure of the site. We were very impressed and spent a very enjoyable weekend, in no small part due to the superb location, right on the edge of the town and within easy reach of many of the beautiful sights of the National Park. The on-site facilities are excellent, especially the shop which is well stocked with a wide range of essential items. We found the wardens helpful and hard working, keeping the site tidy and attractive. We will certainly be returning to Brecon Beacons.

good location
Recently had a 5 night break here. Welcome from all the wardens was warm and friendly. Facilities are spotless, although the water saving flushes on the toilets are ineffective, you have to flush twice most of the time. Agree with another reviewer about the speed limit, many cars/ outfits passed our pitch ( number 1) at more than 5 mph. I think one reason may be the distance you have to travel to exit the site if you're pitched near the playground. Location is excellent, a pleasant walk into Brecon down the towpath. A pleasant stay but I would imagine it gets quite busy during the holiday periods.
GOOD SITE RULES OVERLOOKED
GREAT CARAVAN CLUB SITE AS USUAL FACILITES SPOTLESS AS ALWAYS, ITS A SHAME THAT THE RULES THAT THE CARAVAN CLUB ASK US TO STICK TO ARE BROKEN BY A FEW AND ARE SEEN BY WARDENS WHO SEEM TO TURN A BLIND EYE, MAINLY THE SPEED OF CARS AND PEOPLE DRIVING AND RIDING ( INCLUDING KIDS ON SCOOTERS) AROUND THE WRONG WAY! I HAVE 4 KIDS AND THEY ARE TOLD BY ME WHAT THE RULES ARE AND THEY STICK TO THEM, WE EVEN SAW CHILDREN CONSTANTLY AROUND THE TOILET BLOCK WHILE WARDENS WERE PRESENT. DONT MAKE RULES IF YOUR NOT BOTHERED TO ENFORCE THEM.

Flying Visit on Whistle-Stop Tour
We stayed here on what must have been one of the windiest nights of the year and were only using it as a Stop-Over whilst enroute to South Wales so we didn't get a feel for the surrounding area at all.
I can say that the Site was very well presented, the Washrooms absolutely spotless with buckets of hot water on tap, the Shop was well thought out and stocked and the Staff we met were very helpful and friendly.
My only (and on-going) criticism is that, at £27 / night it is just too expensive.
After many years of Caravanning and now Campervanning, we still prefer the great value offered by the CL's over the Club's own Sites.
Club Sites work out to be good value if you are a Family with kids but when a Couple have to pay the same price then that value is nowhere near the same.
Windy weekend
Lovely site, spotless, warm toilets and showers and very friendly helpful wardens.
Unfortunately the weather for our visit was dreadful so we will look forward to returning very soon to take the short walk along the canal into Brecon town.
