This is truly a great site in a good location a nice stroll along the Brecon canal toll path into Brecon, the dog walk is just fantastic the dogs loved it and the site is immaculate and the wardens very friendly the only shame is the road noise loved it and will definitely return.

Perfect!

We stayed here during the Easter holidays. The wardens were friendly and informative. The toilet block was immaculate as usual. There is a nice shop selling different things. Overall it was a lovely site with some amazing views of Pen Y Fan and Corn Du. As we have two children, the park is one of the best they have been to. There is a lovely playing field with basketball nets and our children were never bored. Even our dog had a lovely walking area and a visit to the local pub is an absolute must!  We will definately be going back.

Immaculate!

First time ever at CC Site and what a pick. The whole site especially the toilets were immaculate. Wardens very helpful and friendly and thoroughly enjoyed our one night stopover. We would love to visit again.

Two nights in April Brecon Beacons

Just returned after two nights at the clubs Brecon Beacon site. The weather was great which is always a good start but what a great site. The facilities are second to none. Beautiful location, easy 30 minute walk along the canel towpath to Brecon town centre, 30 minute walk in the opposite direction to the aquaduct. The Three Hourse shoes pub is in the adjacent village which is less than 15 minutes walk away through what has got to be one of the best dog walks anywhere. The beer was excellent( £3.20 a pint for Dorothy Goodbodies) and the food looked very good but they were very busy with food so we did not eat but will next time. Probably best to book in advance. To get to the pub go through the dogwalk from the right hand entrance nearest the road as the entrance on the left by the childrens play area is bare soil and could be slippy in the wet, the right hand enterence has stone on the path. The canel starts at Brecon and goes all the way to Newport so great for easy walking or cycling if you do not feel up to walking the beacons. Wardens where doing a great job keeping the site looking good. The on site shop has every thing you need and even has a good range of caravan maintenance items, cleaners etc. All in all a great site and location, we are already looking to book again for longer. Great job Caravan club with the refurb.

Lovely!

The huge investment has been so worth it. We stayed here just after Easter and the facilities are wonderful. Clean, spacious and plentiful, in fact we could not fault it. The only draw back is the sound of the A40 that runs alongside, but even this is forgotten when you take in the breathtaking scenery.  Walks are plentiful, with the Brecon canal a few minutes walk away. If you are feeling energetic a walk up Pen y Fan is well worth the aching legs - magic. We look forward to returning soon.

April visit 2015

3rd visit to this site  Major improvements to all areas, very pleasing  Highly recommend this site. Two issues during the visit 1) there is a shooting range not far away and the peacfull days were constantly spoiled by shotgun noise almost continuous some days for 4-5 hrs 2) internet on our pitch had been off for the whole of our visit pitch 26 which was fully serviced, wifi connection ok but no internet availability Reported but was told they were waiting for it to be sorted, appears not urgent but was off for our whole week with no attempts to rectify. As somebody who needs communication I was very disappointed with this aspect of the visit and if known possibly would have chose another site All other aspects were excellent as new toilet / shower blocks. And one of the best sites shops you will find anywhere.

First Time to Brecon

Stayed for 4 nights from Easter Monday. Didn't get off to a good start as when we arrived we were told there was limited water and that the wardens had called everybody due to arrive that day. Not us though. Also, a wi-fi mast was down. Thankfully, during the morning of our arrival whatever the problem with the water, it was resolved and we had no further issues during our stay. Have to say I am truly amazed the Club has the nerve to charge for wi-fi. Here the service was 'patchy' and slow. Over the years the service doesn't seem to have improved that much and is always 'work-in-progress' at the Members' expense. Back to the site. Lovely laid out pitches. Unfortunately the grass ones were too wet to use. This did thankfully prevent the never ending grass cutting that goes on hour after hour on numerous sites sending visitors mad with the noise. The grass really doesn't need to be cut so much Caravan Club. Generous in size we had plenty of space to pitch with our awning and car. Cheap, nasty, sharp stones on hardstanding were uncomfortable underfoot and tore our expensive Isabella groundsheet. Not impressed. The Facilities were spotless throughout and the Wardens were very helpful in their local knowledge. Great off-site walks and canal walk. Children enjoyed the freedom to ride their bikes and other members and Wardens were very understanding in seeing children ride around. A very good family site with a lovely play field and activity park. Brecon a 10 min drive with a large Morrisons and lots of independent shops. As a first visit to this part of Wales we were bowled over with the many great places to visit, free parking (mostly everywhere) and stunning scenery. We had great weather (every day!) Make the effort to walk to the top of Pen-y-Fan on a good day. Awesome views. The Big Pit in Blaefenon is a brilliant FREE day out to learn about coal mining and our industrial heritage. BIG THANKS to the Welsh Assembly for making so much accessible and free to visitors. (We're not Welsh) and live in England - whose tourist boards could learn a lot about how to engage with visitors. So impressed were we with the Site and location we have already re-booked for 7 nights in May half-term (on grass hopefully).
