Will return

Visited this site several times over the years and always impressed by the facilities, the friendliness of the wardens, but this visit was our first since the site was renovated,  all I can say is WAW!!! Stunning landscaping, very friendly and helpful wardens, the new shower/toilet facilities spotless.  This site is one of the best for facilities, location and helpful wardens.

Beautiful Site & Location

Many thanks to the wardens for their friendly welcome and assistance during our stay. Brecon Beacons Caravan Club Site is ideally located for travelling around the beautiful county of Powys. Lots to see and do and plenty of very nice restaurants to visit. Abergavenny is a pleasure to visit. Toilet blocks are immaculate and the site is quiet enough considering the road noise nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay will be returning next year.

Fantastic site

Stayed there middle of July for three nights booked for two, enjoyed so much wanted to book another night. It was fully booked, warden took our names and if a pitch became available they would let us know, as soon as one became available they called us and booked the extra night. Extremely helpful wardens and shop staff. Great dog walking area and well looked after. Lots of space between the pitches and very well kept. Toilets and shower area spotless. Shop on site very well stocked with food and drink and also little things you may need for the caravan or awning. You can walk or cycle to the town of Brecon along the canal path which is a beautiful walk and part of the Taff trail. Would definitely stay here again. Top marks for a lovely site.

Got to be the no1 site.

Visited this site early July, this has to be the most comprehensive site, absolutely perfect, spotlessly clean, not a blade of grass out of line, very helpful and supportive staff (especially reception) they all had time to chat and give advice if requested, we will definitely visit again. 12 out of 10. If I had to nitpick, more in the kids play area required.

Loved the make over

Just returned after a short break with our grandson. Haven't been there for a few years and absolutely loved the make over. The play area is now In a far more sensible area with plenty of room for a kick about for older children and a little play area for younger children. The new toilet block near the entrance is immaculate ( did not use the other block so have no comment. The staff were superb and even though the block was closed for cleaning, I saw the wardens continually checking later in the day . Really impressed with the site and the happy hard working staff. Thankyou and will not leave it so long for our next visit.

What a transformation

Missed out on 2015 as site was being upgraded but came back this year to see how facilities measure up with a young pup. What a surprise facilities now up there with the best of the CC sites and backed up with cheerful and helpful wardens. However, the dog walk is probably the best out there with numerous turns and tracks to choose from even over water if chosen. That does not stop owners picking up left behind mess as even with a young pup we make effort and think about young kids who also use those paths it doesn't take a minute to scoop! Great playing area for kids with goals and various other playthings that would keep them occupied. A short hop over to the canal and yes, there is some roadside noise but after all it is the North to South pretend motorway passing by the side of it. Give it a go you won't regret it.

Excellent facilities

Wardens friendly and helpful, facilities plentiful and well kept. Pitches in the perimeter near the A470 are very noisy early morning, which continues throughout the day. Would still go back!

A REALLY TOP CLASS SITE

This site is again a return for us, we are walking the Brecon Canal and the site could not be more convenient. The canal is lovely with wonderful views. The site is very handy near the main road but, of course, this does mean a bit of road noise. The site shop sells lots of caravanny things, which is great. There's also a free herb garden you can use near reception, I used it a couple of times. You do need good weather, though, as there is not much 'inside' things to do in the area. Will return again next year.
